NTM : FINAL : PART 1 : STAR SIGNS

There are 4 parts to this FINAL round all in different threads.

Each part has two photo shots you need to do and put on ONE CANVUS (use of photoshop, psp, paint etc)

Backgrounds MUST be left white

If you do not complete all of these, the points you earn will be halved.

This is the thread for STAR SIGNS

You must choose 4 starsigns and show them within two shots put on one canvus in anyway you wish. Please list the star signs you have chosen in your post with any descriptions you wish

Using the doll you have chosen in your application (ie: same head as far as
possible) present her/him in a double photoshoot of this chosen opposite.

Look at models clothes, hair, pose and background
Also
look at your two shots together, making sure that not only do they fit
well with each of the opposites, but also sit well together

Remember
be creative. Judges are looking for creativity, individuality and style
as well as relevance, clothing and hair choice and background etc.

Also check previous round threads to see how each judge marked.

You
will be given points for each photo out of 200 (maximum being 800) from
the judges average scores. These points will put you onto the
scoreboard.

After this round, the first, second and third place scorers will recieve a bonus score of the following;

1st place: 1000
2nd place: 800
3rd place: 600

The first shows Virgo and Aquarius
Virgo shown within the virginal pureness of colour and pose.
Aquarius shown in the water symbolism

The second shows Leo and Taurus.
Leo is depicted by the colours of power and strength associated with leos.
Taurus is depicted by the romance which is associated with this sign

In the first shot there is Aries and Leo.
Aries is self-confident and always wants to be number 1. This is shown by the dress, as you might wear it to a business party.
Leo is caring and usually lucky in money, shown by the cards.
Both Aries and Leo are fire signs.

In the second shot there is Pisces and Libra.
Pisces are fun loving and adventurous.
Libra is balance. Libras are calm and collected, holding fear on the inside.
Pisces is a water sign, while Libra is air. This aspect is shown in the colors and styles of clothing.

(I changed the eyecolor of my model to represent the fire/water signs.)

The first shows leo and pisces. Leo is shown through the red colour of the dress, and the graceful way in which she stands. Lions are a cat, and very graceful. Pisces is shown through the red colour of the dress, as red is a romantic colour, and pisces is a very romantic sign.

The second shot shows Gemini and Libria. Gemini is a very entergetic, imaginitive, and impulsive sign. This is shown thorugh the strange taste in clothing, all the colours, how it matches so well shows imagination. Libria is a peaceful sign, shown in the way she stands peacefully and happily and her clothes which hint at modern hippies.

Aries and leo Both of these signs have a competive side each liking to win. My thoughts on this one was that with an olympic style of taking part and competing that both of these star signs have a connection through their love of competion and winning.

Aries:

Scorpio and Aquarius These two signs are both linked through their intelligence. I feel that this doll of these two demonstrates that through the sense of a school enviroment and a hard working intellingent approach to that included with their school bag all organised. I also used a Ravenclaw scarf to demonstrate that these star signs have been placed into the house of wisdom.

1st Photoshot: Leo and Scorpio

Leo: Shown by the sun on the leg (Leo sign of fire and ruling planet sun). Hair coloured to match this.

2nd photoshot: Cancer and Aries

Cancer: Water sign shown by the colour.

This first shoot represents Taurus because of the emeralds in the background and the green color of the dress. It also represents the Earth element Taurus's have by the flower in the model's hair. It also represents Libra because of the wings, which go with Libra's element of Air.

The next shoot represents Capricorn and Sagittarius because of the idea of travel. The model has her suitcase ready and is choosing which road to take - something that Capricorns say is the most difficult thing. Wherever she goes, she's sure to be learning, which leans towards Sagittarius's love of learning. Also, one of the signs points to love, which is very important to Sagittarius's.
