Olympics Points Possible

This thread holds the amount of points possible for each event.

Please note that all olympic events are worth a different number of points depending upon how big the event is.

Points are subject to change as the event continues so please check here for any updates

Medals

Medals are given in each event for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

These points are given on top of the score recieved for that event

All medals are worth the same amount of points throughout every event

GOLD : 3000
SILVER : 2000
BRONZE : 1000

All the following events are worth different points depending upon size of event so please check carefully

Track Events

Sprints
100m : 50 participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for one parts, judge score for one part, 50 for 1st to finish, 25 for 2nd to finish
200m : 100 for participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for two parts, 50 for 1st to finish, 25 for 2nd to finish
400m : 200 for participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for four parts 50 for 1st to finish, 25 for 2nd to finish

Middle distance events
800m : 250 for participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for one parts 80 for 1st to finish, 40 for 2nd to finish
1000m : 250 for participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for two parts, 80 for 1st to finish, 40 for 2nd to finish
1600m : 350 for participating, Multiple of 30 for each vote for one parts 80 for 1st to finish, 40 for 2nd to finish

long distance
3000m : 400 for participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for one parts 150 for 1st to finish, 100 for 2nd to finish, 50 for 3rd to finish
5000m : 500 for participating, Multiple of 30 for each vote for three parts 150 for 1st to finish, 100 for 2nd to finish, 50 for 3rd to finish
10,000m : 600 for participating, Multiple of 30 for each vote for two parts 200 for 1st to finish, 150 for 2nd to finish, 100 for 3rd to finish

Hurdles
100m : 300 for participation, Multiple of 50 for each vote for one part combined 50 for 1st to finish, 25 for 2nd to finish
300m :450 for participating, Multiple of 50 for each vote for one part combined
50 for 1st to finish, 25 for 2nd to finish

Relays
4 X 100m : 300 for full participating house who completes, 250 for each participating member, 200 for team to finish first, 150 for team to finish 2nd, 100 for team to finish 3rd
4 x 800m : Drabble, graphics, artwork, photo, Drabble, graphics, artwork, photo 400 for full participating team, 300 for each participating member, 200 for team to finish first, 150 for team to finish 2nd, 100 for team to finish 3rd

Marathon
1500 for participating, Multiple of 20 for each vote for ten parts 800 for 1st to finish, 600 for 2nd to finish, 400 for 3rd to finish

As above, points are stc and are all worth different

Field Events

Triple jump
200 for participating, multiple of 50 for votes of three parts

Long Jump
50 for participating, multiple of 30 for votes for one part

High jump
50 for participation in each round plus a multiple of each score for each round, 100 for 1st place per round, 50 for second place each round
This will work on elimination

Shot Put
50 for participation in each round plus a multiple of each
score for each round, 100 for 1st place per round, 50 for second place
each round
This will work on elimination

Javelin
80 for participation, multiple of 50 for each part completed, 200 for 1st, 100 for second, 50 for third

Pole Vault
80 for participation, multiple of between 30-100 per part, 100 for 1st, 50 for second

Pentathalon
500 for participating, multiple of 20 for three parts vote, multiple of score for two parts, 200 for 1st to submit, 150 for 2nd and 100 for 3rd

Heptathalon
700 for participating, multiple of 20
for three parts vote, multiple of score for three parts, 250 for 1st to
submit, 200 for 2nd and 150 for 3rd

Decathalon
1000 for participating, multiple of 20
for five parts vote, multiple of score for three parts, 300 for 1st to
submit, 250 for 2nd and 200 for 3rd

Archery
50 for participation in each round plus
a multiple of each score for each round, 100 for 1st place per round,
50 for second place each round
This will work on elimination

Tennis
50 points for participating for each round, multiple of 20 for each vote per round, 150 for 1st place per round, 100 for second place each round, 50 for 3rd place each round
This will work on elimination

Table Tennis
50 points for participation per round, multiple of 10 per submitted item per round, 150 for 1st place per round, 100 for second place each round, 50 for 3rd place each round
This will work on elimination

Gymnastics
150 points for participation plus 100 for group participation, judges scores for four parts, multiple of score for one part, judges score multiplied by member participation (x10) for group gymnastics

Diving
50 for participation in each round plus
a multiple of each score for each round, 100 for 1st place per round,
50 for second place each round
This will work on elimination

Equestrian
50 for participation in each round plus
a multiple of each score for each round, 100 for 1st place per round,
50 for second place each round
This will work on elimination

Baseball
50 points per member for participation, 200 points per winning house per round, 150 points 1st place per round, 100 points 2nd place, 50 points 3rd place per round. Group elimination

Fencing
Up to 200 participation per member per round, 150 points per winning house per round, 150 points 1st place per round,
100 points 2nd place, 50 points 3rd place per round. Group elimination

Shooting
Up to 200 points participation each round, 200 1st place per round, 150 2nd place per round, 100 3rd place per round. Works on elimination

Please note the following for all events:

* Points are subject to change
* Some events have more than one round and so points work out more for those not eliminated
* More points for longer events in general

Please note:

Points possible for writing events and those events which do not require game play will be going up by quite a lot as these take a lot of effort.
