| I used to have a diary in here. I forgot to update. Such is life.
However, I do update my LiveJournal a lot, so my goal from now on is this:
Whenever I update my LJ, I come here and update my diary thread too.
Simple, eh? Who wants to bet that this thread will soon get lost amongst the dregs? Keep commenting to bump it up and remind me :D

I've got the bug for making icons after that HE Olympic event. And now I have a nice, shiny, new version of Paint Shop Pro X2, I can make icons a-plenty. Maybe.
I need to get going on writing more of Invectis. I'm using it as the fic I need to update for all the HE Olympic writing events, so there's extra incentive there. For that, I need to write three more chapters by the 21st, so hopefully that'll get done. Trouble is, I keep getting bitten by other plot-bunnies (all Spuffy, of course, my fandom mind is kind of stuck on BtVS and this ship atm!).
I'm going to visit Becky in Southampton over Halloween weekend, and guess how much the train fare is?? £62.50. Seriously. For a return trip to Southampton. I just don't get it... they say that they want people to stop using their cars and use public transport, but then they charge that much for a train journey! If I had passed my test I would be driving down, because I could get there and back on a full tank of petrol and that'd be significantly cheaper. Heck, I could fly to France for less money! But I am going to go anyway, a) because mum's paying half the fare and b) it's Becky's birthday a couple of days before.
Ooh, and Lisa is coming to visit Brum during reading week, so yay!
I can't believe we're midway through October already. There was an advert on the TV yesterday... with a Christmas song in it. Where has this year gone, seriously?
Anywho.... that's all for now. Hopefully my next update will either be icons or fic!

| 15th October 2008Meme-ageYou Are 60% BritishCongrats, mate. You're are probably British. (If not, definitely Australian. Or Kiwi. Or Canadian.) You enjoy most aspects of mainstream British culture, without being stereotypical about it. You also have a typical British temperament. You wouldn't dream of being impolite. How British Are You?That was a bit of a random quiz! | |

| 16th October 2008 Ack
I've just watched The Body on FX. So now I'm nice and depressed.
Kinda weird though, they cut out that whole scene at the beginning when Buffy finds Joyce, calls the paramedics. It went straight from the Christmas scene to Dawn at school.
I haven't noticed them cutting out other bits from the rest of the episodes, really... Well, in Crush the other day they cut Harmony's line about threesomes and Dru snapping the girl's neck in The Bronze.. but never a whole long scene.
And ha, I guess it says I've watched the show too much when I know which lines and minute details they're cutting out XD
