Posting the Pensieve

Hello!

Okay so!

The Pensieve will now be posted in the Notice Board under the name of The Hogwarts Pensieve.



This will mean that we can now control what goes into the edition without worrying about having too much, please can everyone also double check their spelling and grammer as well and include all codes they wish to be used along with the colour codes, this will save us time.

Also, i think we should have some graphics!!!!!!

So who wants to make the official Pensieve banner for each edition ... heck who want to make the Hogwarts Pensieve avatar and siggy?

Oh dear i have to stop now my fingers are numb.

Next Edition of the pensieve will start soon!
So lets get planning people!

Now we need siggys for the paperboys/girls to advertise each edition, encouragement to leave comments after each edition and omg my back hurts!

I have an Ettie Skeeter article ready to role that i didn't put inot the last edition, and i'll do my Editors Babble, i'll also do a CD review, may as well do one every other month.

so thats 3 things from me.

I was wondering if someone wanted to try and recreate Streams wonderful articles of the Opinions? We still have the Snape one i think that needs turned into an article.

Hmm, we need more writers me thinks.

Woo hey Gemma, didn't know you were on the team! *considers asking 20 questions but doesn't*

Right, generally we go with a RP article/interview, book and movie reviews, general features like Ettie Skeeter who appears as a space filler lol, horror-scopes and site round up.

We can add some more stuff/have more people working on the same thing because most of the team have vanished, i've only heard back from Kayz, June and stephy about staying on, oh and streamies but she won't be doing it anymore *pouts* Chelle is joining the team as well, so between us and possibly the new people

*i posted a recruitment thread in notice board and forgot to ask Amy to move it for me oops*

I figured if we get some new recruits, make them apply the same way we did by telling us why they should be on the paper, we could be picky and take the best person/people for the job cos really we only need 2 moe writers and someone to do full time Graphics lol and our paperboys/girls.

The Opinion's article, is basically an article put together using our posts on the different opinion topic which was opened up, Streamies did one for the last edition on the environment and she turned mine, Polly's and her posts into a great article, she did a Dumbledore is Gay one as well, we have the war on Iraq/Afghanistan
and Snape...good or bad, after all is said and done? However theres only two replies to the Snape one and i guess we could drop it all together and focus on the War on Iraq/Afghanistan.

Polly does the Quidditch already and interviews members concerning that, however, if you want to be our Muggle Sports reporter you can.

You'd have to cover a full range of sports for different countries and if reporting on Football be sure to state if it's American Football or Real Football (Don't call it Soccer you'll get murdered.) .... We could also have a "Gossip Queen" filled with the general showbiz gossip of muggle world and HE world.

And.......... if you wanted you could help me do a CD review, two opinions are better than one after all.

Lol, okay, give your opinion on the latest sports stories, for example, over on a F1 forum i frequent there is this huge debate over wether the lobely Timo Glock gifted Lewis Hamiliton the World Drivers Champsionship yesterday, its literally full on war with people calling Glock a sell out and some of the older members even referred to him as a .... well i'm not going to say that word because it just goes to show that the older generation holds a grudge over the whole WW2, England v Germany etc etc and now they are calling Glock that wordi, which imo was totally uncalled for. But you get the drift, i hope, lol.

I was thinking of doing either Pink or Pussycat dolls CD's for the review, i want to keep the CD feature varied with different artists from different music back grounds etc like the first one i did was for Simple Plan, so now i'm thinking go Female, go pop and they're 2 of the newest albums i've managed to download lol. You're more than welcome to suggest a band or whatever i'm rambling now lol.

Pink it is, if you want i can email the album to you i downloaded it off a torrent site i use and theres no viruses and its a full album, lol.

And i know what you mean about the whole pulling your hair out, i wanted Massa to win but i rooted on everyone and well i was amess by the end.

Alas i have to wait til March for it to start again, and it'll be Australia which will be amusing cos this year only 7 cars finished.

I was just thinking, if we opened a Sports Desk thread all news on sport could be posted their so you could maybe turn it into an article, or what about getting people involved in a new sport,or maybe you could even just write a article on how you used to watch F1 then stopped then came back to the sport and what its like now.

Then we could find you something else to write about, maybe you could do a member interview, or a feature on new members and what its like for them etc.

Well don't worry about it Stephy, if you can't do it every time, maybe you could do it on rotation with the others who have signed up to be writers .... if they ever make it into here.

We really need to start working on this now as well.

*frowns* As soon as i know the others have access to this place, i PM'd Amy the other day about it and i know she's not been online much, so i am unsure if she has or not.

Plus i want to get the new Deputy Assistant Editor brought up to speed before we launch the next edition.

But i am thinking of about 4 to 6 weeks, a Christmas one would be good, also we could celebrate our "birthday" since its been one year since we relaunched.

Hmm, i think because we've not been as consistent with editions as i'd have liked (only releasing 3 in one year) we should skip over the birthday thing and focus more on Christmas, although i guess someone could interview Sharon or Amy about the Pensieve, but that's if anyone wants to.

Still nothing from the new recruits *is getting worried*. I don't know if they've gotten access yet or if they all don't have any motivation and i've made a bad choice, i'm thinking its the first one ... i'm hoping its the first one.

*groans*

Should they appear soon, i will ask one of them to write an article on the Olympics.

But for now we must begin work, we have Kayz's horrorscopes gotta stop calling them .... i have everything but the CD review.

So Stephy and Gemma, chop chop get to work, we could be releasing a 3 woman paper and what's worse, we may have to make the graphics ourselves.

Oh i haven't heard anything from Polly so Quidditch is now free for the taking, Gemma do you want it?

Just do a general round up of what has been happening in Quidditch, current Quidditch scores, who you expect to win, mention a remarkable player etc.

I'm gonna have to email this album song by song too you lol!

The review can be done however you want. I think it would possibly be better if it were an Independent one from mine, but it's your choice, lol and you don't have to review each song you could just review the entire album, i chose to review each song because you rarely find such in-depth reviews of an album its normally just a whole album review lol.

I feel like someone has hit me with a sledgehammer repeatedly. My boyfriend just threw me out of bed cos i couldn't breathe properly and it was "disturbing" his sleep.
