Welcome to the maze, Emmalynn!

You find yourself at the beginning of a huge maze composed of gigantic green hedges. Using your knowledge of spells, especially Charms, you must find a way out of this maze. Numerous obstacles will be presented to you and they need to be passed in order for you to move on through the maze. Tall leafy walls rise up on both sides of you. The sun shines brightly and there's nothing in sight... at the moment. Step into the maze and begin this adventure. Remember to role-play your actions, show your knowledge of spells and charms, and to be creative. Your first obstacle will follow your first post. There will be ten total challenges for you to complete before you're done.

Emmalynn looked up at the ominous hedges with more than a little apprehension. She shook her head to clear her thoughts.

"Okay, Emmalynn, relax, you'll be fine," she said, breathing slowly. She groaned. "I'm not even in there yet, and I'm already talking to myself!"

She took a deep breath and pulled out her wand. After placing it horozontally on her palm, she said, "Point Me." Her wand spun until it stopped, pointing to the right. "Right it is!" she said, striding into the maze and turning right the first chance she got.

Emmalynn is walking along her chosen path when she suddenly feels her feet getting wet. She looks down and sees that before her the ground is getting wetter and wetter - before she can do anything, the path has turned into an enormous whirlpool - and she's being sucked in!
