Rebirth

[I was thinking of making a character of other race, but I thought it'd be better to have her birth as another creature be clear, so I made this thread, and hopefully somebody will come and do help me in creating her.]

With some of her things packed and her clueless mind on where to go, Courtney de Grieu wandered around Ottery St. Catchpole. She's a stow away, descendant of a "use-to-be" noble French family. All these years, everything has been served to her on a silver platter, everything. Until, the wheel of change have rolled and somebody have turned against their family, all for wealth. She stopped on a playground and rested her cramping legs as she sat on a swing nibbling on a bar of chocolates she have bought earlier.

Courtney put away her bar chocolate back into her backpack and stand up. "Hi, I'm Courtney. Nice to meet you." she told him extending her hand for a shake.

Bliss walked around hopelessly confused to were she was going. as ussual she was being clutzy and stupid. when she is being clutzy and stupid she desides to do well stupid things so she was going to climb a tree... in cleats. what do you know two seconds latter THUNK! she was now fliped upside down hanging from her shoes wich ere inlodged into a a tree branch. CRACK! WHACK! the branch broke and she had succassfully fell on her head and got a branch stuck to her shoes.

"I was eating a bar of chocolate before you have approached me, if you didn't saw that," she answered to Matthew in a bit fast forward manner of talking making herself a snobby person. She's not that trusting. Besides, she don't know anybody around this place. She bent down reaching for her back pack and placed it on her back again getting ready to set off whenever she feel doing so. Though the guy seems to be friendly, she can't help to be as afraid as she could be, she haven't been away from home before, and being raised in a mansion with no friends made her social interest somewhat declining. Later, she saw a girl who seems to be joining the company, too. Please don't let them eat me! She prayed to herself thinking that these people were cannibals. That's what she's feeling right now, blame her family for keeping her away from people. Her hands starts to get cold. Nice job Courtney! This is what you get for running away!

"Sorta," she replied to him awkwardly.

Courtney looked at the sky as he speak, it is getting dark, she must find a place to stay. She heard his offer, but didn't replied instantly, well that was a kind thought, but she doesn't know the person, and another thing is that he's still a he. I f she'll be that trustful it'll not be on a man first.

"That was kind of you. Thanks for the offer, but I think that was too much for a stranger like me," she told him now sounding kinder than earlier.

Hearing the girl's hello on her other side though, she just gave her a faint smile and a hi that's closer to be thought as a whisper.

Courtney gaped at the scene she have witnessed, she didn't realized that she's gaping until the woman named Oddie said hello to her. "Uhm.." she uttered as she closed her mouth, "good evening madame," she greeted her politely with a short bow. "My name is Courtney, Courtney de Grieu. Please to meet you."

Courtney nodded to Oddie as she said that they already need to go home. Not surprising, it's already dark. She looked around the place, the girl is still standing there, though she seemed to be in idle, and in aside from her and these two other people in front of her she can see no more person around. "Erm...Actually no." she hesitated to answer him.

She looked down and think, until shyly she said, "Is it okay if I'll join you two? Anyway, if I have to pay for my stay and anything else I might use, I will."

Courtney seemed to get the guts to look at Oddie once again as she rushed on her side.
Hearing her say "Nonsense you can come stay with us in our guest room and you won't have to pay a thing. You won't be intruding or anything. You can have a snack than before you go to bed and in the morning I'll make the three of us breakfast." She was surprised to hear those words. Especially from a total stranger. they still dunno her, but here they are, offering her a place to stay. Very nice people, indeed.

"Thank you for such kindness milady." She stepped her left foot backwards and slightly bowed before Oddie. "But, I won't be that comfortable if I'll not help at least for even a small thing for you, madame." she added as she stood straight again.

Courtney's eyes sort of widened when Oddie talked about her picking with her son. "No madame, I am not picking or something with your son." she answered slightly getting red as she felt a bit shy. "We can go straight to your house actually. Anyway, you must be tired looking after your son, too." Blurting out the last sentence completely got her shocked inside. What the..? Where on earth did I get the guts to joke at someone whom I dunno like that? Stupid girl you are indeed Courtney.

Courtney smiled in relief that her joke wasn't took as an offense. And later she reached onto Oddie's hand and stood near her holding one strap of her backpack.

Courtney felt something unusual happening to her, it was as if she's being squeezed, she's not even sure if she really is, all she knows is that they are apparating. Next, she was expanding, this sensation made her thought that they have already reached their destination. She was now standing in a living room, next to Oddie. Courtney is aware of what apparating is, as well as splinching, of course. So, she checked herself as Oddie too, looked at her. Hands. Feet. Fingers. Hair. Ears. CHECKED! "Well, I'm good, I think. Ow!" She's hurt, she felt it, it just came to her late, it's coming from her mouth. She tasted something salty. Good heavens! It's bleeding. She licked the left side of her gums and found that she lost a tooth! Though the good thing is that it is her wisdom tooth that was lost. "Erm..I lost a tooth, but don't worry it's my wisdom tooth. So, I'm still good, though, it's..uhm.. bleeding." She told Oddie with a little don't you worry smile.

Courtney followed Oddie to the kitchen, took the salted water she has been given and rinsed her mouth with it. After rinsing, she faced Oddie and shyly said, "Thank you, madame. I'm so lucky I have been seen by such kind ones like you," and placed the cup on a table.

Courtney nodded and followed Oddie to see the guest room and hung her backpack on her left shoulder.

Courtney followed a look in everywhere Oddie pointed. And after the sort of house familiarization she entered the room and put her backpack on the nearest desk. "Neat. This room is nice," she said as she scanned and walked around the room. "Thank you, again," she addressed to Oddie.

"I dunno how to extend my thanks to you madame," she smiled at Oddie and gave her a hug.

"Sure, thanks again," she told Oddie as she strode off to the kitchen. Courtney then lied on the bed and relaxed her aching back, she have carried her backpack more than half a day and it has lots of stuffs in. After taking a short rest she took a shower, changed and went to the living room to join the Riddles.

"Hm-hm. I'm not picky. I love cheese anyway, so that'll be fine with me. But I'm not yet hungry. So, I may eat some...but later," she said to him.

She slightly stood to chase Oddie and said, "No, no, don't bother. Cheese is fine with me. thank you, " and smiled.

Courtney shyly giggled as she saw Matthew nearly choke at his sandwiches.

Courtney felt different as she heard Oddie, but she thought it'll be okay to tell them. Besides, they have trusted her, so better trust them in return, too. "Sure, you can ask me anything," she smiled.

Courtney then got unsure of what to say, though her thoughts still are fresh. "I'm a stow away. I ran away from home, I just felt that I don't fit in there anymore."

Courtney nodded, "and I thought you'll be mad if you'll hear that."

Courtney smiled with Oddies thoughtfulness and shyly admitted, "Actually, yes."
