Kurt sat under a tree with his arms crossed on his nape sniffing and breathing the fresh air.

"Yes, smile...or frown...but not smirk." She said to him, playing with Alice's hair.

"Hah! But I only give my precious smile to precious girls," he said acting to be nosy and grinned.

Thierry looked confused but shrugged, moving from behind Alice before jumping into her arms.

"So, what's up with you ladies today?" he asked as he landed next to them and slouched against the tree with his arms again crossed on his nape.

Thierry shrugged from Alice's arms before falling back into Kurt's lap. "Nooooothing." She said, smiling.

Alice smiled at Thierry and Kurt. They looked really cute together. She shrugged, ''Yeah not much... What about you?''

"Whoah!" He blurted as his reflexes sort of woke up when he sensed that something'll be landing on him. "Could you please warn me next time so I won't be that surprised?"

"Well, I have nothing in mind so important today...yet."

"I dont give warnings...sorry." She said, smiling again.

"Cool! Then I guess I'll get surprises everyday," he blurted out.

Thierry raised an eyebrow before smiling again.

Alice sighed. All the flirting was making her feel sad. She didnt want to think about the last person she had...

Alice shook her head to clear it. She could cope with this. She had to.

Sethrin walked across the ground, mumbling under his breath. "Theirry! WHERE ARE YOU!" He called out, glaring. She had ran away from him, again. He wondered if he needed a leash for her. Thierry looked up as her brother came from the castle and she smiled.

"Do you....and you....have something important to do later this day?" he stammered. And looked at the new company.

"Nope not-AH!" Thierry screamed as her brother grabbed her arm. "I told you not to walk off....you never know who is lurking..." He trailed off, looking at the other girl there. He smiled before looking at Theirry again.

Alice looked up as a boy walked towards them.

She smiled at him. He had a nice smile, Alice decided. And there was something different about him... something that made him stand out from her other company.

"Hey! Watch it! You're hurting her," he told the new guy in the scene.

Thierry looked at him, shaking her head. "He isnt hurt me.." She said smiling. Sethrin ignored her, looking at the other girl. He let her go, and she fell back into Kurt's lap.

Alice watched as the new boy let go of Thierry, and she noticed how protective Kurt was of her. Alice was watching the new boy, when she realised he was looking at her, and probably thought she was odd for stareing. Alice glnced down and tucked some of her long wavy chocolate brown hair behind her ear and off her face.

''Hi'', she said glancing up again, ''Im Alice.''

"Sethrin..." He said softly, taking her hand softly. He kissed the back of her hand, like a man should do and smiled.

"I thought he did...Oh well, at least you're not hurt. Who is he, by the way?" he asked Thierry.

"My weird brother...secretly...I think he is...gay..." She siad, nodding once.

Alice smiled and blushed when Sethrin took her hand and kissed it. ''Pleased to meet you Sethrin'', she said softly, playing with her hair with her free hand in an embarassed sort of way.

Sethrin smiled at her as Thiery turned to Kurt. "Watch this..." She said to him before walking behind Sethrin and pulling his pants down, laughing.

Alice smiled at Sethrin, still playing with her hair. She grinned slightly and looked away when Thierry dacked him, not wanting to be rude.

''So...''Alice said, still looking away and waiting for him to fix himelf up, ''Is it Seth for short? Or just Sethrin?''

"Oh, I see," he said in a more gleeful tone. He watched Thierry went behind her brother and pulled his pants down. "That was a brave one to be done on a brother, but I think you shouldn't have done that. He's like getting his way to Alice and you have broke his moment." He shrugged, though as he laughed.

Thierry smiled as her brother glared at her. He pulled his pants back up, not really embarassed, which caused Thierry to pout. "Seth for short!" Thierry shouted, humming softly.

Alice turned to face kurt when she heard her name. She hadnt really been listening to thier conversation, more preocupied with Sethrin. ''What did you say?'' ALice asked, the blush returning to her cheeks. Seth didnt look at all embarrassed though.

"Oh, nothing," he answered to Alice and whistled acting like he's innocent.

"Let's leave the love birds alone." Thierry said, standing up. Seth just smiled at Alice again, before sitting down.

"And where'll we go?" he asked her smiling.

Alice looked up at Kurt. ''I heard what you said'', She told him, ''I just dont understand what you mean... explain it?''

Alice tried unsucsessfully to keep her eyes away from Seth who sat down with them.

"I think she is on to us...run!" Thierry said, grabbing Kurt's hand and running. Seth looked up at her, sighing. "You just lost..." he mumbled.

Alice looked confused as Thierry and Kurt ran away. She wasnt really sure why... ALice was glad they were gone, she wanted to be alone with Seth, but also wished they would come back so she had a safe place to look and something to say.

''What did I lose?'' ALice asked softly, looking up at Seth from under her lashes, her green eyes searching his face.

"I mean--Whoah!" Kurt was about to explain when Thierry dragged him away from the two.

"A battle with Larky." he said, pointing his head towards where his sister ran. Thierry stood behind a tree, watching ehr brother. "Watch him get her...they look cute together." She said, smiling.

''I didnt know we were fighting...'' Alice said softly as she glanced towards where Thierry and Kurt were. At first she couldnt see the but then Alice spotted them behind a tree.

Alice blushed deeply at what they were saying. Obviously they didnt intend for her to hear but being a vampire, ALice had much better hearing than the normal person and they were no where near far enough.

Alice tried to ignore them and turned back to Seth. ''Why do you call her Larky?'' Alice asked.

"I know," he said as he stood behind her and swung his arm on her back and rest on her shoulders. "They'll do look like a good couple, if so."

"He likes her...." Thierry said, smiling at Kurt. "And if he doesnt...I'll beat him." She said. Seth smiled at her. "I meant...when Larky is around...anyone around her leaves too." he said, shrugging. "I could never say Thierry when we were growing up....and I liked sharks...and she was like one...so I called her Larky one day...it just stuck." he siad.

"Why would you beat him?" he asked her a bit gloating with the thought of a sister beating her brother for not liking a girl.

Alice could still hear what Thierry and Kurt were saying, and it was making it hard to concentrate. Did he really like her? How did Thierry know?

''So you are Thierry grew up together...'' Alice smiled. Sethrin was nice, and good looking and he made Alice nervous and self concious, two things that Alice rarely ever was. Infact most of the time she was the opposite. Alice couldnt help but think about the last person who had made her feel this was. Love really did give you the power to break someone, or in Alice's case, be broken by them. But Alice wasnt really sure if she knew where she stoop with Ralph. If it really was over...

"Well...why wouldnt I grow up with my sister?" he asked her, smiling. He pushed a hand threw his hair, looking up at her. She was pretty, beautiful. But looks didnt really matter. He felt drawn to her, as if there was a magnetic pull coursing from her.

Thierry looked up at Kurt once more, glaring. "Becasue I like Alice. And Seth likes her toooo..." Thierry said before moving under Kurt's hand and jumping on his back.

''Oh'', ALice said, feeling stupid, ''I didnt realise she was you sister...'' Alice smiled, and felt the need to look down. The way Sethrin was looking at her... was different and new to her. Alice wasnt really sure how to react. All she knew was she liked being around him, and it made her feel good, special even. Alice smiled slightly, feeling confused at the way she was drawn to him.

"How old are you, Alice?" he asked her, leaning back on the tree.

"Chill! Just don't glare at me, it decreases your good looks," he joked at her. And later managed to have his balance as he felt Thierry moved under his arms and jumped onto his back. "What am I now? Your horse?" he chuckled. He seemed to be liking Thierry's presence after all.

"Yes...you are." Thierry said, laying her head on top of his.

''I-i'm 15'', Alice told him, wondering why he was asking. ''How old are you?'' She asked.

"17.." Seth told her softly, looking over at her.

''Does that matter to you?'' Alice asked him softly, not sure if she wanted to hear the answer. She was looking down at the ground again.

"Well of course not." he told her, smiling at her again.

"Oh, I am? Huh?" He asked Thierry and grinned. "Okay, then hold on, cause you have just rode on the greatest horse you could've ever imagined." He held tight onto Thierry's legs and ran and hopped here and there zooming, acting like a real horse on two feet.
