Edition 11 Planning - Halloween?

I'll do the chatter article! I dunno about a Halloween specific thread though o_O if people actually post in there it would be a good idea.

I will also do activities (puzzles and things)

And if you do need help with your babble, I will do that also. We tend to have odd conversations, so it could be rather entertaining XD

You know me though, Katie, I will end up doing more, I just don't know what yet! But you know I will help with absolutely anything!

I think that it might be anti-climactic to have the issue come out after Halloween, so maybe we could do like you said and have the costume contest before hand. People could just do a dress rehearsal and take pictures of that to submit. Then the winners could be in the actual issue.

Oh, and I was thinking it might be fun to take Twas the Night Before Christmas, and turn it into a HE themed Halloween poem. I dunno if it's already been done, but it sounds fun to write, so I am all for it!

I'd love to do an opinion article, depending on what it's about XD and I love doing reviews so even though it's not just the one member doing this, I'd love to send some in XD

I'm not sure about the opinion article, maybe the HP series coming to an official end (with the movies now being over on top of the book?) and what I think about how there's already talk of remaking the films, though it obviously wouldn't be for a few years still, but yeah XD

As for reviews, does it have to be recent movies/books/music releases or can it just be anything? I'd love to review one of each or whatever, depending on how many of each you'd like. I'd write about The Help for the book, the Speak Now Taylor Swift tour for music, and maybe The Lion King 3D for the movie XD

Ooh! I'll write an opinion piece, if you wants me to. I can write about the Harry Potter fandom and the Twilight fandom and their battle that seems to be constantly brewing up. Cause, I gots opinions about it! XD

Awww, you don't have to redo it! Honestly, it's amazing and I don't think anyone will care!

Are you sure? I didn't close it out, I can just change the font and add all the stuff back to it.

If it's gonna take a lot of time, definitely just leave it the way it is. It still looks amazing either way so I don't think you need to change anything unless you don't like it. I love it though!

I like the banner, too. And I personally didn't notice the Quill-Pensieve thingy after I read Katie's post. XD 'Cause it's awesome like that.

ummmm, Katie... would you mind if I just made a Halloween fiction instead of doing the poem? I know it was my idea, but it is proving more difficult that I thought, and I have an idea for a fiction that will include site members.

Woo, go for it! Yes, it was going to like a spin off of The Night Before Christmas poem made to fit Halloween but I'm a flexible person so you can really do any sort of Halloweenish poem you want.

As for this, it reallly depends on what the article is. Judging by past articles, they're usually around 500 words long, give or take 100 words or so, but we've had articles as long as around 900 words and as low as 300 words, so whatever you need to make the article perfect is fine. If you're still worried about length when you're finished, then I'll read it over (which I will anyway ) and let you know but I'm sure it'll be fine no matter how long/short it is.

As for the fic, when stephy and Vi did the Christmas Chaos fic last year (find it here!) we split it up into a whole bunch of scattered parts throughout the edition but its total was around 900ish words, so the fics tend to be a tad longer than the articles, but since they're so amusing I don't think anyone would mind them being a bit longer.

So to sum up this rant, fics usually count in around 900 words, and articles around 500. xD

No worries, studying and homework are more important! I'll check in with you closer to all the due dates, but if things are still too busy, I can of course cover anything that needs to be.

Do you think 3 activities is enough? I saw that there were four for the Christmas edition, and I can totally do another one, but I thought I would try and focus on articles now if 3 is enough.

Hahaha, we're actually short an article or two because Vi's sick (booo ) so I highly doubt she'll be feeling well enough to send in her article with all the interviews so if you have a filler topic ready to go, and really don't want to do your homework, then you can of course go right ahead and do it.

But only if you want to. Casue I don't want to force you into more work for you to do.

What about the graphics? Do you still need an activities banner?
