Raistlin The Wizard

This year our company would like to present our new product: pumpkin shaped bubblegum. This is not your average gum though. After chewing for five seconds every time you laugh it won’t be your normal laugh. It will a very deep and creep guttural laugh, like a terrifying ghost. Barnie, the ghost was roaming the streets. Barnie had been dead for a long time and no other night gave me more joy than Halloween.  On Halloween he could walk around - well float is more accurate – and no one would give him a second glance. On Halloween his disfigured face didn’t shock bystanders and didn’t make children cry or girls scream. On Halloween he got praise for how real his costumed looked like and asked what his trick to look so transparent was. On Halloween he was normal again.

Raistlin pushed the gigantic doors open of the Hogwarts Experience Great Hall. Dead silence reigned supreme on a place once filled with life. Chairs were empty, fires were out, twirls of dust curled around every corner. The statues that lined up the walls seemed somber and somewhat tired, like the weight of the years had finally caught up on them, like they knew the end was near.  It didn’t disturb him anymore. He had grown used to the silence, to the absence of people, to be alone. He always knew it would come the day where he’d be the one left roaming the Hogwarts Experience.

The HeadMaster took one step forward, his footsteps echoing into the emptiness and waved his wand. A stream of bats shot out of it and went soaring to the skies, forming dark clouds that would move freely. Another wand movement and the enchanted ceiling turned from a bright sky to a deep dark angry blue filled with thunder and rain.

Raistlin took a deep breath and remembered Halloween’s past memories. The feasts, the challenges, the electric atmosphere and the victories. Especially the victories. But there was no one left to compete with now. Everyone had left, moved on or simply departed. He had been angry first, ready to unleash hell and holding grudges left and right. But there was no point to it.

Taking his hood down, the HeadMaster tapped his wand into one of the tables and lowered himself to sniff at the wonderful smells exuding from the great food the house elves had made he had just summoned there. True, it was a waste of food, but he wasn’t to back down from organizing the usual Halloween feast the Hogwarts Experience always had.

Surveying the room with his wand, pumpkin shaped candles started to pop up from thin air all around. In seconds the Great Hall was shining bright with thousands of candles. Still, there was nothing but the rustle sound of the candles flickering and the bats’ wings. Waving both his free hand and his wand hand in a spiral movement he conjured a band of skeletons which started to play the most sepulchral of songs.

Finally, Raistlin took a place at the staff table. The plates on the four house tables and the staff tables filled themselves with heads. Heads of all the people that had once been a part of the Hogwarts Experience. He wasn’t finished yet, so in spirit of Halloween he turned everyone’s heads into scary creatures: Frankenstein, vampires, werewolves, zombies, mummies… The person beneath was still recognizable though. The scene couldn’t be creepier; he was surrounded by horrific heads in a Halloween setting with thunder rumbling up high. At last, when the hour struck midnight, the spell Raistlin had put in motion activated and time stopped. The Hogwarts Experience would remain frozen in time like that for all eternity until the world was ready for a return.

Take as many eggs as you and fry them. Use the white part of the egg and cut ghost shaped pieces. Cut a piece of pumpkin into tiny bits, boil them in sugar and then use the small bits to make the eyes of your ghost. Simple and tasty!

Preparation

Boil the eggs and cut them in halves and season with a bit of black pepper. Cut the onions into halves and into square bits. Place the olive halves in the middle of the eggs halves and place the square bits around. It will look like it spiders on your eggs!

- Worm gummies

Preparation

Boil water and add the powder Jell-O. Let it cool a bit and when it starts to get solid place some worm like gummies on top of it. It will look awesome and taste even better!
