Hand Badges (Temp.)

For anyone reading, this is my hands badges. Please do not steal any of my work and be respectful to my thread. Also, please do not post here as well (unless it's Rai or Amber). Thank you!

Blue Hand Badge
-Create 3 challenges in the challenge chamber (or other forum that accepts challenges)
-Create 3 classes of your choice, remembering to give the relevent professors the answers and to let them know why you are doing it (for professors you must do 3 other classes to your own)
-Come up with 2 games for your house game subforum and post them
-Help organise your house spirit week

Red Hand Badge
-Suggest in detail 4 new badges for the badge burrow in the suggestion thread
-Create 4 classes of your choice, remembering to give the relevent professors the answers and to let
them know why you are doing it (for professors you must do 4 other
classes to your own)
-Come up with a small event idea in detail and post the idea here
-Contact pensieve editors to submit 2 items for the next edition of the
pensieve. Ask them what you can do and tell them why then pm them to me
after you have sent them to the editors
-Create 3 challenges in the challenge chamber (or any other forum where challenges are made)

Bronze Badge
-Create 5 classes of your choice, remembering to give the relevent professors the answers and to let
them know why you are doing it (for professors you must do 5 other
classes to your own)
-Create 4 challenges in the challenge chamber
-Create, advertise and run a chat room event (print screens here as proof)
-Plan out 2 new events for the second event forum and post them here
-Come up with 2 battle arena battles ideas in detail and post them here
-Help teach 2 languages in the language forum for over a 2 week period

Silver Hand Bagde
-Create 6 classes of your choice, remembering to give the relevent professors the answers and to let
them know why you are doing it (for professors you must do 6 other
classes to your own)
-Create 5 challenges in the challenge chamber
-Create, advertise and run a chat room event (print screens here as proof)
-Come up with 2 new ideas in detail for Hogsmeade and post them here
-Plan out in detail 1 event for the small event forum and 1 event for the big event forum. Post them here


Gold Hand Badge

Blue Hand:


(This is for my blue hand badge)

The first snitch use to be a bird called a Golden Snidget. When Barberus Bragge released one during a Quidditch game with a reward for 150 Galleons, it quickly became a tradition. A century later, the bird was close to extinction.

Part One:
Describe why (or why not) a snidget made a great snitch. Do you agree with it being used as the first snitch for entertainment? Give reasons for each side. Feel free to use outside sources that do not relate to the golden snidget.

Part Two:
Pretend you are observing a golden snidget. Describe the how it looks, the noises it makes, how it flies, etc. You can use both Wikipedia for this or use your imagination. Word count: 200.

Good Luck Charms

For years, muggles have believed that certain objects bring good luck and many also believed that a priest or minister had to bless the object. But why do muggles believe certain objects can bring good luck?

Part One:

1. What is a good luck charm? (2)
2. Pick a good luck charm (button, four leave clover, rabbit’s foot, etc.). Why is considered good luck? (5)
3. How does the good luck charms you picked work? (5)
4. How are good luck charms blessed? (5)
5. Post the picture of your good luck charm. (3)

Part Two:

In this part, you will need to tell us how magical charms (the spells- not the good luck charms) tie in with muggle charms. Are spells used on these objects to make them lucky? Do witches or wizards bless these items or just pretend they are good luck charms? Word Count: 200

Make your own good luck charm. Describe how it works and tell which charms you used on it to make it a good luck charm.

The Life of Grindelwald

Part One:
Before there was Lord Voldemort, there was another dark wizard by the name of Gellert Grindelwald. What was his story? Did he have followers as well? What did he want to accomplish? Before you can understand evil, you have to delve into their history and find out what makes a monster. For this section, the word count is 500.

Part Two:

Suppose he did have followers? In this part, make a journal documenting all the things that happened while trying to accomplish your goal. Did he manipulate people? Did he use blackmail? Dark objects? It does not have to be an everyday type. It could be between months, years, days, etc. Just have one-ten entries with at least 100 words but no more than 300.  Each entry is worth five points.

Relations: relate one word to the next (ex: Slytherin *next poster* evil *next poster* Voldemort)

Rewrite (rewrite a song to match a HP character)
Remake a Graphic (remake an old graphic- may already be a challenge, will have to relook)
Harry Potter recast (recast three characters with another actor and describe why)
Calendar (make a calendar)
FUZZY WUZZY (make pictures fuzzy, guess the actor/character)
Create a Book (two challenges in one; make a book cover and back with a summary of the book and then write a chapter from said book)
Design a wand (what it's made out of, what designs are on it, etc [can be hand drawn, hand made, or computer graphic])
