the final battle

i thought this might be an interesting RPG to do and elfie ok'd it so here you go - the final rpg battle - remember the use of your characters!

(DIE!! No they fell asleep on the ground- look at all the running and falling on each other they did! They were exhausted! Ahem...and now back to the rp..)

~Draco's hand moved slowly...blood trickled down the side of his head as he lifted it. He wasn't sure how long he'd been out but it had been long enough for a mass amount of bodies to be strown around him.~

"Huh?" he asked with a low groan. Then as he lifted his head to discover that there were no Death Eaters around-in fact no one was standing. It looked as though many people had been attacked while he'd been unconscious.
~And then he glanced over and saw Lavander laying only a few feet away. "Brown, are you alive?" he asked in a whispered tone but it came out as barely a squeak. He grunted as he began to crawl over to her~

"Brown...Br- L-Lavander? Lavander?" He mumbled as he began to shake her slowly.~

(Lol they didn't all die...that would be mean...)

::Lavender grumbled and the first thing she realized was that she had a headache-then she realized she was being shook and someone was talking to her. Her whole body ached and she slowly opened her eyes::

"Ugh...what is it...?" ::she said slowly, finding it hard to get the words out. The brunette was surprised to see that it was Malfoy who was shaking her and groaned.::

"Let go of me..." ::Lavender began to try and pry herself out of his grip, but when she tried to support herself she winced, feeling pain shoot up her back. Sighing she leaned against Malfoy.::

"Never mind...don't let go...sitting hurts..."

~Draco held onto her helping her to keep from falling over as they got up and looked around. Everything was still and quiet and this made him very uneasy.~

"This doesn't look good..." he mumbled. He then looked around for anyone else that might still be alive but with no luck.~

"What do we do now?" he asked in a low tone as he continued to let her lean on him for balance.~

::She looked around and saw Oddie on the ground. Lavender watched her for a moment-and then saw the girl's side rise and fall.::

"Over there, that girl, she's still alive!" ::Clutching her side, Lavender slowly walked over to her and collapsed onto her knees next to her. Carefully, she pulled Oddie over so that her face wasn't on the floor anymore.::

"Is there anything we can do?" ::she asked, looking back over at Malfoy.::

Oddie eyes fluttered open. She looked around and started screaming expecting a deatheater to be around. Lavendar and Malfoy tried to clam her down and after a few tries they succeded.

"Wh-wheres the the d-deatheaters at? They w-were here." She whispered.

Oddie tried to get to her feet but fell down. As she looked down to see what was wrong she saw a giant gash that was bleeding really badly.

~Draco followed Lavander over to Oddie and knelt down~ He saw the gash and immediately cast a healing charm on her without giving it a second thought.~ "Do you have any other injuries?" He asked her calmly~

"No no i-im fine, Thanks though" Oddie said. "Where did they go , wheres the deatheaters?" She asked "They were here"

Oddie then got to her feet and found that the charm did help a lot and she was able to now walk.

~Draco carefully looked around. "Maybe they went that way" he pointed ahead at the partly crumbled corridor where there were faint voices.~

"Uh oh..." He grabbed Lavander's hand and motioned to Oddie. "Come on, we need to get out of here. I don't know what side is winning but hopefully we can escape with our lives~"

"Well you certainly are being overly cheerful and optimistic about our present situation!" ::Lavender snapped as she stood up. She looked around to see if there was any other exit, and in the far left corner of the room saw a tapestry. She recognized it from when she used to date Ron-they would sneak down the passageway behind it for a good snog. But the thought of him just made her angry, so she pushed away the memories.::

"Quick, through that tapestry," ::she said softly, pulling Malfoy towards it and jerking her head at it.::

~Draco let her pull him through the tapestry~ "Are you sure about?" He mumbled.

"Well if you'd rather stay here with them..." ::she dropped his hands and opened the tapestry so he could walk back through.:: "Be my guest. But if you're staying, be quiet, I have to find the stupid panel..."

::She ran her hand over the wall and counted to herself-six from the right...up three...two to the left...down one...Lavender tapped the panel with her wand three times and like at Diagon Alley, the panels moved to form a passageway. She picked up a torch and turned to Malfoy.::

"You coming?"

Oddie saw that Lavernder foiund a seret passage and followed her and Malfoy.

"Where does this go? She asked. "Did you hear that. I think that it was a deatheater"

Oddie than ran towards the opening grabbing Lavender's and Malfoy's hand pulling them in with her.

"Will we be safe here?" She asked

::Lavender pushed her brown hair out of her face-it was all stringy and wet and disgusting.::

"It should be...if we're very quiet." ::she shot a warning glare at Malfoy.::

"This passageway leads to the third floor corridor, outside the second year Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. It should be far enough away from here so that we're safe. Lumos," ::Lavender whispered, lighting her wand.::

"Let's go."

"Okay, I'll be right behind you.~Draco followed closely behind Lavander as she led the way down the passageway. He drew his wand out and gripped it tightly as he watched around them for a possible ambush~

::Her blue eyes looked into Malfoy's gray for a moment, during which she smiled slightly to herself before turning away. No, I am not happy the ferret came...not not not not notttttt Lavender silently chided herself.::

"All right then..." ::she whispered, walking quickly down the passageway. Her foot steps echoed against the walls, and she wished she could muffle them somehow.::

~Draco kept his guard up and kept looking around as they moved through the passageway their shoes making faint noises as they walked.~

~He couldn't help but smile to himself as he thought about earlier when he'd held Lavander in his arms as he had helped her stand~ Stop it, Draco! You are NOT thinking about Brown like that. She's not your type and you can't seriously be going soft on her! No no no no ! He mentally scolded himself. He shook away all the thoughts in his mind and went back to focusing on their surroundings~

~Suddenly he heard footsteps behind them and stopped in his tracks~ He spun around to find...no one there? His face scrunched up and he exhaled letting a low growl of frustration slip out. He just KNEW he had heard something.~

"Psst...Lavander..." He couldn't believe he was calling her that but he found it was no time to be choosy on what he called her by. "Lavander...I think someone is following us" he whispered loudly as he grabbed her hand, pulling her to a stop for a moment. But five minutes went by and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. He loosened his grip on her hand, but stayed close behind her and kept looking back as she started leading the way once more~

::Lavender spun around, wondering why Malfoy had grabbed her hand.::

"Malfoy!" ::she hissed:: "What is it?" ::but Lavender didn't pull her hand out of his.:: "N-no one's there." ::Lavender said resolutely and more bravely then she felt.::

"Let's keep going." ::she whispered and looked behind him at Oddie.:: "You be careful too..."

~Draco nodded to Lavander as they continued on their way and then he looked to Oddie~ "Keep on the lookout for Deatheaters, I'm positive they're lurking about." He whispered.~

::She shivered, not liking the idea of that. Lavender quickened her pace. The tunnel hadn't ever felt so foreboding before.::

"I-I think we're almost at the end. See that light?" ::she pointed towards a pinprick of brightness about 8 yards away.:: "It's the room I told you about."

~Draco nodded~ "Yeah, I see." He replied, remembering the stories about the third floor corridor. He tried to shake off that creepy feeling of being watched but he couldn't. Something was nearby. Something dangerous but he didn't know what.~

::Lavender lifted her hair off of her neck-its brown strands disgusting her with their filth. When they reached the door, she gripped it hestitantly. What could be on the other side? Could it be something even more dangerous than what we leave here? Closing her eyes, and then opening them, she turned the handle.::

"Fingers crossed that nothing jumps out and eats us," ::she said in a feigned light hearted tone::

"Wait ill go first." Oddie said after over coming her fear. "If something happens just run away."

Without looking back or waiting to hear Malfoy's and Lavender's pleads that she should stay, Oddie walked out in the corridor.

Once out inn the corridor Oddie looked left then she looked right.Nothing here She thoiught to herself. Then all of a sudden Oddir heard a noise to her right and started at that direction for a while.

"Its sa-" but Oddie was cut off when she heard a speel muttered in the darkness and quickly took cover.

"There here RUN!!! STUPIFY!!!" Oddie yelled hoping that the spell hit. As she went to turn away she was hit by a leg locking charm and fell to the ground.

"JUST GO" she yelled fear spreading in her eyes

::Lavender's eyes widened in shock.::

"Like HECK I'M GOING!" ::she said, running over to Oddie and trying to drag her back to the corridor.::

"Gah...no more eating sweets for me." ::she mumbled, casting a feather light charm on Oddie.::

"Just go and save yourself. Dont try to save me youll only endanger your life. GO!!!" Stephy pleaded to her

::She shook her head.::

"No way!" ::They were almost at the passageway...::

"Well then hurry but if they get any closer you got to promise me that you will leave" Stephy said sturnly

*Holly wanderd down the halls, her wand held tight in her right hand as she slipped throough the entrance hall doors. There was commotion everywhere! She nearly puked at the sight of bodies lying unmoving on the ground. She looked up just in time to see a spell heading for her.*

"Trying to escape are we.." said a chilling voice behind her.

As Oddie was being draged away by Lavender she noticed a girl being attacked by a deatheater and decided that since she was just lying around that she would try to save her so Oddie raised her wand and shouted Supify and knocked the deatheater out saving the girl.

::Lavender noticed the girl and shouted.::

"Over here! Quick!" ::They had at least reached the passageway and she placed Oddie in it. She then reached out her hand to Holly and called::

"Hurry!"

"Why did you have to save me. You could have killed yourself. You should have let me die."Oddie shouted out angaly. Deep down Oddie knew that it wasnt her fault but she couldnt stand the thought of someone dying because of her. "Is everyone here" Oddie asked trying to put aside what had just happened "and dose anyone know the counter curse"

::Ron who had been able to survive through the battle woke up on the floor just in time to see Lav and Draco rushing away. He followed them into a passageway quietly and then heard voices around. He saw Oddie and Holly and Lav.::

"Lav-Lav! Wait! Stop! Malfoy's leading you into a trap!" He called out trying to stop the girls from being led into a trap by the ferret boy::

"What?" Stephy asked questionly. So far she didnt see him as a fret. Oddie tried to get up to see where he was but couldnt because of the leg locking charm. "Where is he?" she asked after giving up on trying to get up.
