Future careers

Assuming that they survive, what future careers do you think that the trio and other members of Harrys year would choose after the final battle?

Harry has already expressed an interest in an auror career but im not sure. I think he is going to be scarred from the final battle and therefore choose something else - what i dont know

Hermione will probably choose something muggle related magic (if she doesnt continue spew lol)

And Ron. Maybe ron will do something in quidditch?

I don't like the idea of Harry becoming an auror - he's had a lifetime of fighting dark wizards, why should he have to carry on for the rest of his life? I don't think he will become an auror for this reason.

Hermione, I can see her doing something in research - perhaps researching new spells?

Ron, I'm not sure about. Quidditch is a definite possibility, but I could see him doing something on the administrative side - maybe a Quidditch scout or a coach.

See thats how i think with Harry. I wonder, though, I think he will continue something to do with fightning dark wizards - it seems in his blood so to speak - a thirst for it.

Another thing I thought of with Harry - what about him ending up teaching at Hogwarts - possibly DADA?

Yes, cos he certainly showed an aptitude for teaching with the DA. Or perhaps Trelawney's prediction will come true? The minister of magic and the ten kids (with Ginny ) one :D

she predicted that? I think I somehow missed that lol I seriously cant see Harry having 10 children lol

I don't know why but I always imagined Hermione as a Healer at St. Mungos lol but I couldn't find anything for Ron...

i think that maybe harry will teach at hogwarts or he will be an auror because thats what he said he wanted.

i think hermione might work abroad somewhere in muggle relations (is that the word?)

i think neville will do something in st mungos to do with plants

JK said that one of the students will become a teacher... I think that is going to be Neville We know that he has an aptitude with plants, so maybe he shall be the Herbology professor? I t would be nice

I also saw Hermione as a Healer... at first, I didnt think it was likely, but a few fanfiction stories changed my mind

Harry-I think he'd be teaching DADA..or the Headmaster of Hogwarts! Or or...MINISTER OF MAGIC!! :D

Hermione-Healer yes

Ginny-Healer or maybe an Auror

Ron-Head Auror, Quidditch Star, or....King Weasley! XD

Hmmm....

Harry- DADA professor or maybe in charge of the Aurors

Herm- either Healer or a professor at Hoggy Hoggy Hogwarts

Ron- something with Quidditch...maybe work at Wheezes

Neville- Healer or Herbology professor

Everyone else- no idea :D

i think that you all may be right with neville becoming the herbology teacher - i mean he has come so far through the books

With Harry either DADA or possibly becoming a member of the ministry though not an auror as amy said- I don't like the thought of him being an auror either!

Hermione I'd say she would work in the ministry on public relations or house elf rights

Ron I can see him either working at the ministry or quidditch (then again he'll probably just sit at home mooching off hermione...)

I could see Ginny being a little housewife to ~cringe~ Harry since she was so nuts over him. The good little house wife.

Just guesses, but I like these choices.

My list is as fallows:

Harry: auror
Hermione: I always thought of her as a unspeakable
Ron: auror or quiddtich star or in the ministry as head of sports
Ginny: auror, and funnily enough healer, becasue she just seems so knowledgeable
Fred & George: joke shop obviulsy
Neville: herbology professor
Luna: Quibbler Editor

and just for laughs Harry and Ginny's 10 kids (5 boys and 5 girls)

Okay hasn't j.k said that someone will become a hogwarts proffer but it will not be Harry. So here goes mine.

Harry- auror- I actually think he will its a nice career for him
Hermione - s.p.e.w. or Healer or both - Actually the both one seems good I think she might become a healer and work with s.p.e.w. on the side XD
Ron - auror - I think Harry and Ron will carry on working together they are after all best friends and I think where ever Harry goes Ron will do.
Ginny - auror or law enforcement squad - I said auror becuase well I could see her fighting dark wizards to but I don't think she has the guts so I think some thing like the law enforcement squad.
Neville - Herbology Professor - well yeah it makes sense to me
Luna - editor of the quibber - I think she will probably follow in her fathers foot steps.
