Changing Eye Colour

In this tutorial we’re going to be learning how to change someone’s eye colour, for example:



What we need:

This picture of Harry

1. Open the picture to Paint Shop Pro.

2. Create a new raster layer (Layers >> New Raster Layer). Zoom in on Harry’s eyes, so we’re looking at them up close. We’re going to be making Harry’s eyes a vibrant green colour.

3. Select a dark green colour (I’m using #004000). Set your paintbrush tool to size one. Using the brush, trace around the very edge of Harry’s eyes. It’s not necessary to be too neat, but try not to bleed into the whites of his eyes.



4. Choose a lighter shade of green (#00C000), and keep your paintbrush set to size one. Trace around the inside of the line we just drew.



5. Choose an even lighter green (#40FF40), and fill in the rest of Harry’s eyes (excluding the pupil).



6. Now to make it look a little less ugly. Blur the image, (adjust >> blur >> blur more)



7. No, we’re not quite done yet. Change the layer blend mode to overlay (Layers >> Properties), and the eyes should end up looking pretty realistic. And that’s it, you’re done! Merge all the layers, and save you’re image like usual.
