I've been writing today, and I'm at 2,085 words, yay me :D

The daily wordcount target is 1,666 so I'm quite pleased to be above that and still going lol. I'm not going to get complacent though - 50,000 words is a lot to write in 30 days.

Wow, good luck everybody! I won't be participating because I don't like being under pressure to belt out a certain amount of words. Especially in such a short time limit. But good luck to you all!

My current wordcount is 2625, only 707 words off the two day target yay.

My plot is coming along nicely, and I'm getting a feel for the characters, and I hope I can keep going at this rate lol.

I'm still in the first chapter, which sets up the story. I think that I'm going to hit a block when I get to the middle of the story - I know how everything starts, and I know how it ends, and I sort of know how to get from the start to the end, but then there's a grey area of what is going to happen in the middle. Ah well, I'm sure I'll work it out lol.

maybe you could put some ideas here and we all could help you unblock your mind?

Yeah Charmzy has a good idea. I don't mind giving out some really cool twisted creepy plot ideas or something...Like you can add a purple hippo somewhere!!

I finally began lol. And I was wondering, is 600 words too short for a prologue?

Naw, my prologue is only 94 words long. I haven't done any writing yet today...I've been reading New Moon all afternoon.

I'm going to try and write some tonight, I don't want to get behind!

Heya all...I was wondering where you were all up to and if you think you're gonna finish in time?

I've kind of given up on being finished by the end of nano. I've still been writing, but it's not going to be finished lol.

I have kind of given up after the prologue XD rofl yeah, I'm not really responsible for things like that

XD that's why I didn't bother signing up in the first place...but at least you all now have SOMEthing written down, so even if you don't finish in time you'll probably end up with a good story.

I have a girl in my class doing this shes at about 25,000 words as of last week....shes like a freakin genius I swear it

lol well natasha is also taking her hgih school math and english this year again. Last year she took her 9th and 10th grade English and math this year she is taking her 11th and 12th grade math and english....

She seriously can read 3 books a day and all of the have atleast 200 pages in them....shes also a great writer as she asked for my opinon which made me feel honored

Seriously though she is going to have that thing done soon, cause I think she's been writing every second of her free time O.O
