FARSI: basics, pronounciation, numbers =D

(OKay... Here goes)

For you all who don't know, Farsi is the language spoken in the Middle East. It's the native language of Iran. =D

Salam (Sa - lum) : Hello.

Chitori (Chi - tore - E) : How are you

Esmi man (*) hast (S - mi - man - (*) - ha - st) : My name is (your name here) hast.
The a in the middle of 'man' is pronouced with a short 'a' sound.

Doosttit daram (doo-st-tit-d-R-ram): I love/like you (it can work either way)

doost (doo-st): friend

man : me, my, I; that a in 'man' is the short a sound

If you wanted to say 'my friend' you can say, 'doosti man'; you always add a short 'i' sound whenever you want to say that something belongs to you.

Beya birem (BEE-ya Be-reem): Let's go (the 'i' in 'birem' is the short sound)

Nimidonam (Ne-ME-DUNE-nam): I don't know (again, the first 'i' in this word is the short sound)

Khobi?: Are you well(How are you?); for the pronounciation of this word, the KH in the beginning as to probably be one of the hardest sounds to pronounce for those people who aren't used to using the language. The 'kh' sound can be made in your throat. It sounds like some sort of static. One way to know the sound is to try to remember those movies where the people want to spit, and in order to gain enough saliva to spit something nasty, they make this sound.
