I think first years should have more things to do like take exams and earn special awards!!!

It doesn't take much to become a second year and the first years can get involved in most things I think the do 3rd year and above things because they show loyalty to the site XD

Special awards? Eh!? The awards i'm deeply in love with, are available for everyone. Right, Eimi? Elfie? SOMEONE!? xD It's the members - aka we! - who nominate other people, and the members - wooow, we again! - who vote for 'em :D

Thats right Car, lol, the awards we have on the site are for the members by the members and anyone can suggest a type of award in the correct forum.

Like Polly has already said, it doesnt take much to become third year, and setting the exams and other stuff to begin at those levels is to give members, an incentive to achieve more on the site.

As mentioned above, Awards are set for all years each month, mainly at the end of the month though awards can prop up quite regularly. Just take a look in the award forum in the notice board forum.

With exams, just to add onto what others have said, a lot of the exams need a good knowledge of how classes and the rest of the site works, therefore it works best for 3rd years and above as they have the experience of how things work.

Most things are avaliable for 1st years and above, though with certain things aimed for higher years, it gives people something to aim for.
