Happy Half Blood Prince Day!

Two years ago today, the sixth book in the series was released!

What did you do to celebrate? How did you get your book? What was your HBP story?

I went to collect my book at midnight, and then hurried home trying to resist the temptation of reading the ending. Once at home, the kettle went on and the living room was set up to make a nice reading environment.

Cup of tea made, Becky, Elly and I settled in to read our books. Elly failed to stay awake and went to bed at about 2.30am, but Becky and I carried on reading until the morning. I finished about 8am and then went onto the PC to the forums I frequented at the time to discuss it.

I think that for DH, it'll be very much the same.

And you know, I swear I made this post this time last year, but it seems to have disappeared.)

well when the book came out i kept asking mom to buy it... about a week later i got it and read it stright for about 3 or 4 days stopping only to eat, drink and get some exercise..... thats just about all that i did

I think I was ten or eleven when the book came out so I didn't go to a midnight party. I got it the next day at target though...
