Subject: Missing pages of The Deathly Hallows...grrr Tue Jul 24 2007, 16:37

I finally finished Deathly Hallows just now. You just won't believe it, but I was on page 210 and when I went to work on the next page, it was missing! I was missing pages 211 - 230. Iwas like 'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" it was just getting good and now I would have to wait! I ordered mine by interenet, but we went to Barnes and Noble. Just my luck, huh?

Anyway, we drove to Barnes and Noble Sunday to hopefully exchange it, and I found out I wasn't the only one to return with missing pages. Turns out about several copies of the U.S copies had missing pages.

I had missing pages as well. 50 - 84 were missed from my book. I exchanged it two days later.

I got two copies of the book, and both of them had all the pages. I would of liked to have missing pages tho, its so cool.. i would have kept it lol

I agree with you, someday that book is going to be highly vauable. I would have hold on to it.

I saw this on the news. Afterwards, I made sure all the pages in my book were there.

Agreed though. I think I would have kept the book. It is valuable or will be.

It didnt happen to me... that would have sucked... i already had to wait for like three days till i got mine... and if i would of had to exchanged... i would have been mad..

Funny thing, my copy had a few pages missing as well. Boy did I throw a fit! I brought another one though and kept the other.

I ended up selling the other book for alot of money on EBAY which helped pay my way through a year of college. lol

We have four copies in our house but I don't think any of them have missing pages *runs off to check* nope! One of them is the British edition though... *huggles* I'm sorry to hear that though!

Hun my had all the pages and I got my from the internet.My mom read about it ad said well arent we one of the lucky ones.I know some peolpe got theres before time and i think Hermione was suppose to die,but seeing as someone got the page,he didnt because my friends mom knows someone who is friends with JRK(but no longer)and stole some of the OOTP chapters from her and it said Neville was going to die not Siruis.But im not sure.

Awe now I wish I had one XD I could be using that money to pay for my college lol However knowing me I probably would have kept it and just about another one lol

No no pages missing, but we didn't get the US editions here.
