We walk by a new house.
Granny: "Oh look, they've also got a new fence!"
Me: "It's not so new"
Granny: "I haven't seen it yet..."
Me: "It's been there for more than a month."
Granny: "But it wasn't here when I was here last time!" *
Me: "But you didn't come here yesterday!"
Granny: "Yes but I didn't notice it."
Me: "But you've been here for a month, and you passed this place like a thousand times and you didn't notice the fence?"
Granny: "No."

Note to the reader: * = my grannys come from Romania to Warsaw to live at our place here, three months each, and then they change. Which basically means that the granny I'm with now was here sometime in spring. Oh and she came here with me, at the end of August.
