Phone Habits

Ive had to cut down my phone habits recently as I have run up a few large bills which is really not a good thing at the moment. I have always had a habit when talking to friends of talking for hours on end if I have nothing better to do and recently I have done the same with a friend over seas which is the reason for my high bills.

Does anyone else like talking on the phone as much as me?

I don't use my cell except on nights and weekends so I get it free XD But on our home phone I can spend hours on end talking to people XD Ask Jess XD

I really preffer texting, or talking in person to ove3r the phone.. idk, I guess I am just werid like that.....

I spend around £30 a month on my mobile phone, though I used to be terrible when my mum paid the home phone bill. I once ran up a bill of £50 in one week - my mum went mad lol

I prefer texting. And if you talk to a friend overseas, you should definitely try Skype, by the way. It's free to make PC to PC calls (you need a mic).

But yeah, I prefer texting to actually talking on the phone.

I prefer texting too.... I don't know why, but I always feel awkward when I talk to someone on the phone, and even more awkwark when I'm the one making the call instead of recieving. =/ lol, and I REALLY feel weird when I call someone on their house phone rather than a cell phone. I don't know, I guess I'm scared of their parent picking up XD

I loveee texting lol. I hate making calls...but i'd flix message someone anytime XD (in fact, I did that tonight.) I could sit there and text longer than i could sit there and just talk.

well, I used to stay on the phone for hours while I was still in Romania (and whenever I'm there in holidays now xD) ... but now that I've moved, I can't afford to make so many international calls, so I just keep in touch with my old friend via messenger. Lol which doesn't mean our phone bill is small, it just isn't me who's the cause XD

... and I'm a relatively slow texter... mehh I don't really like texting XD

I love texting, there are none of those awkward pauses that ALWAYS come up in phone conversations. And you don't waste hours saying...

"Um...so what's up?"
"Nothing, I'm good. What's up?"

"Umm. OH did I tell you blah blah?"

"Wow. Huh. So what else is new?"

Gaaah drives me insane. You spend hours talking nonsense. Occasionally I'll have a deep heart-to-heart with someone that would be too uncomfortable face-to-face, but perfect on the phone. Otherwise I text allll the time.

I don't like talking on the phone... I'm not good at it.... I always make these awkward pauses or say weird things or talk not like I usually do.... blergh.

I like talking to people face-to-face. Or texting. Texting is fun

i have a texting problem i love texting i can do it with out looking at my phone im that bad i spend far to much money on it as well lol

Texting... that's all I hear.. lol. You guys are the lucky few who can walk text at the same time. Me? I had a bad expierence with that. I was walking to class and I was all immersed in this text convo with my friend and I ran straight into a pole, another pole and tripped over a bump in the walkway that everyone knows to avoid. Sooo I never try again. lol.

I'd rather talk on the phone and hear the person's voice anyway. I don't know the word awkward. lol. If I hear a pause, I usually start up a whole new random topic. I like to talk....idk, it's diff for diff ppl i guess.

I say "What's that called?" alot on the phone wen I'm trying to figure out what to say or how to say it. lol.

A also say "Yeahhhh..." alot.


Texting...I can text. But I can't do it while walking or driving. I rear ended a pick up in front of me one time and I walked into a brick wall another time. So.. yeahh.

...I'm shocked.

I hate it when people write in so called computer language! No matter if it's on MSN or text message, it annoys me when people go "Where r u?" xD

...soon we will be talking like that too!

When I talk on the phone, I walk around the house, and there are these cat mats we have that sends tiny shocks so the cats don't go into the room and I always forget they're there while I'm talking and I step on them, and then scream really loudly and whoevers on the other line is like, "WHAT HAPPENED?" HEHEHEHE!

I hate talking on the phone. I'd rather email...hahaha, I think phone conversations are awkward...if I really need to I'll call someone though. (;

But I don't really text all that much either....

Our generation isn't much for the phone conversations, eh. XD

I'm a texter myself. I like to conserve my credit, calls take it all.

Hahah, yeah, no one likes to call people anymore. xD

I get a lot of texts...I ignore them...it's not good cause then people get mad at me when they never get an answer. Oops.

I don't get many texts.

I don't spend a lot of time actually TALKING on the phone, but I always have my phone on me. I've got to admit I'm a bit of a textaholic...and by "a bit" I mean I would probably have a mental breakdown if I didn't have my phone for even two weeks. I know it's horrible, but it's just the way it is.

Hahha, I know people like that who have trouble going a period in school without it. Hehehe.

I'm getting better at actually answering texts though! *is proud of self*

Oh, well I'm homeschooled so I don't have to worry about that :D
