Funny School Memories

I was just chatting with Etta in skype and this topic came up, so what are your favourite funny memories from school?

I have a few...

The one that sticks out the most is when our maths teacher got really cross at the class and said "In my day, the students would bring an apple for their teacher!" - so the next day, everyone brought in an apple and lined them up on his desk before he got to the classroom, so there were 31 apples waiting for him :D

Another time, when the sixth formers were leaving, they let a load of balloons out into one of the courtyards, and two girls from my class went and stomped on them popping them. Our form teacher came out and yelled at them to stop, then shouted that they were "Purely evil!" - for popping a few balloons!

My class also got banned from our form room twice in Year Seven - once for breaking the light - someone threw someone's purse at it, and another time for breaking the projector screen thingy.

Remember the craze for those aliens in eggs with the goo? That was in Year 8 and everyone had them, and someone in my class threw a bit of alien, and it got stuck to the ceiling right above the teacher's desk. And yep, you guessed it...part of it fell off and onto the teacher. We got the same form room for Year 10 - and the rest of the alien was still stuck to the ceiling!

Ahh...I'm getting all nostalgic for school now :D

Any funny school memories to share?

Okay so here are mine:

We had a teacher called Mr Frost, and his first name was Jack, so you know all the bad jokes followed lol, but one year we made a snow woman right outside his classroom, then another outside of his office, she had boobs and a bra and everything, he didnt find it amusing, of course us throwing snowballs at him (and bringing them into class) wouldnt of helped lighten his mood.

i remember he told me off once for bringing a snowman's head into our lesson, he was our geography teacher, and he was all red faced and angry and shouting "Bernadette Lillian, what do you think you are doing?" and i was like "well, i thought i was getting an education?" and he was like "i meant the snowman's head!" and i went "sorry sir, did i offend you? It isn't your dad is it? Oh sorry if it is, but i thought we could watch it melt and see how it erodes like the beaches."

i once set fire to the curtains on the stage in the main hall with my friends, we got caught and the Head Master sat us down in his office (he was such a perv) and asked very nicely what we were doing, well..... i sorta did my best trick and answered before thinking and i said "we were summoning the devil so we could party naked under the moon tonight sir." i got suspended for a week and had to see the school councillor for a month afterwards.

i still have my year 9 report and my head of year wrote "Bernadette Lillian needs to understand she comes to school for an education not a socail life and that the staff room is not her room." i liked the staff room, we used to sneak in and steal the biscuit jar. And we managed to switch the coffee in the coffee jar for gravy granules and the sugar for salt. And they neevr knew it was us.

And yes, my class was the WORST class in the school, we were either playing truant or being as naughty as we could be.

We had a place called WASP, which i still swear is called Whack a stupid Pupil, but thats where they sent us naughty kids, at our worst, there was 27 of us from one class in wasp, and may i point out that wasp was really just a long corridor with a handful of desks for us to sit at and 'reflect'. and just down form the corridor was a small set of stairs leading down to the nurses room and an small alcove thing, so that day we were seated in the corridor, on the stairs, in the nurses room, and in the small alcove, was funny when we started singing Jingle Bells loudly.

In first grade, we had these cool pearls or whatever that we made necklaces, and other things of, and our teacher always reminded us about how valuable they were, since they were "costing a lot to the school" etc etc... so my class was on the sixth floor - top floor, mwahhaaaa! - and as a punishment for throwing a snowball at a boy, I had to stay inside for the break to clean the board and write lines, so then I got bored after three lines, and decided to start throw those pearls down to my friends.

Anyway, the "pretty girls" in my class started to scream that they would tell the teacher, and of course I didn't care, so they went to get the teacher. Anyway, the teacher started with a calm and "scary" voice saying "If I see one more pearl being dropped from that darn window, I will call your parents and you will never hear the end of this, Carola!". And I just grinned and dropped another pearl, and then the teacher just went "...ONE more pearl and I swear--" so I dropped another one - and another one. Annnnnnd another one... xD

After the tenth pearl, she ran up to the classroom, just in time to see me climb through the window, and climb down the fire escape :D

...and then I fell from the second floor and got a small concussion xD

I'll post more stories later, I just thought one story at the time - starting from first grade :D

Okay well, I was sorta a bad kid

In third grade, me and friends had seen this tv show about the myth "Bloody Mary"
So during recess we raced into the bathroom and turned off the lights and turned three times with our eyes closed and said "blood mary, bloody mary, but we never reached the third verse because a teacher opened the door. I, being the smart one dashed into one of the stalls and my friends, raced out and locked her inside with me. I started making noises, and pounding on the door and flicking the lights. She started screaming until I left the lights on too long and she saw my sneakers under the stall. "Priscilla Ashley! You will have time out for the rest of your life!"


As a kid we are supposed to say what we might want to be. Everyone wanted to be a doctor or a nurse or a police officer, except me. I went in front of the class and said in a proud voice, "I wanna be a green apple!" back then I loved apples and I swear I could become one if I really prayed.


When I was in seventh grade we had this rule where you could only go to the bathroom between classes so you wouldn't inturrupt lessons. Stupid, I know. But, I really, really, really had to go, like I would was about to pee myself I had to go so bad. My friend was in the same boat too. So, I went up and asked my language arts teacher, Mrs. Watson and she denied. I started walking to the door. "Priscilla don't you take one more step. Sit down right now." I took another step. "Priscilla Ashley, do you want me to write you up for insabordination?" Another step. My friend got up. "Priscilla and Michael! You two trouble makers take your seats this instant!"
"But, I have to pee, Miss!" I whined and was doing that little dance.
"Well, if you have to go so bad you can use the trash!"
Me and Michael just looked at eachother. He unzipped his fly and I walked out the door. When I came out the bathroom, he was wating for me and handed me my referral.
"What did you do?"
He laughed, "I did what she said and peed in the garbage."


There's another last year in 11th grade. I was having a bad day. THere's this thing where you're not supposed to split the pole if you're walking with friends or soething bad will happen. So one time we split the pole.. OMG! Michael fell down the stairs, grabbed onto my arm for support, causing me to fall down with him and I grabbed onto Olive who grabbed onto Alyssa and she accidentally grabbed the principal wh ohad been walking by and we fell down the stairs. It hurt, but it was funny at the same time.
The principal just shook his head. He knew us well. We were always in his office. "I have no idea how I get into these situations."
we all smiled and cracked up."You love us!" and we all patted his bald head. His wig had fallen off too! haha!

I was looking through a school year book once from fifth grade, and under, "The Best Memory I Had THis Year..." is said...

"When ___________ and ____________ got into a fight and pushed each other into a garbage can at lunch. (One of them fell in and it was disgustin gand hilarious at the same time!)

Well, last year in science class, we really didn't do anything... So we just goofed off the whole time haha.

Once while the teacher was teaching, different people were throwing crumpled up paper at each other when she wasn't looking... but then she saw one and went into a half-hour tirade about how someone could get hit in the eye with the paper, and go blind, and stuff like that. As soon as she turned around again, everyone in the class immediately threw their paper at someone else hehe

And another time, she made us stay late because we were "bad" or something. My friend got down on the floor and crawled out of the room when the teacher wasn't looking

And then there are the locking the teacher out of the room or people getting locked in their lockers and things like that... but those happen a lot so they aren't really all that funny anymore

Well, one day last year, a couple of the older kids convinced my german teacher that that very firday was "German Literature day" (our made up holiday) So we spent that whole friday in class reading German fairytales. haha
