I thought this would be helpful for those who wish to post in the french thread. It's a list of keyboard shortcuts for french accents (they work on my computer, though I'm not sure if they work on everyones!)

Turn number lock on, press down Alt key, and type in the number.

à - 133
â - 131

é - 130
è - 138
ê - 136
ë - 137
É - 144

î - 140
ï - 139

ô - 147

û - 150
ù - 151

ç - 135

Why is it that every time I try to put in an accented letter it keeps taking me to google??

Well they kind of work on mine. Like when I type it in it'll take me right to google than put the accented letter I wanted in google's search bar. It's annoying so I'll just leave google open and type it in in the search bar, copy the letter than paste it where I need it. It's annoying but it works. Why does google punish me so! Also this weekend I'll hopefully have up something for the Quenya thread Accents on your computer 436937
