Please Read

Okay, so ive just got a message from the lovely amy and it appears we have too much for this edition of the pensieve.

Things are going to have be left out so if anyone wishes to put something on hold for the next edition just reply below.

Also, ideas on how we can fix the whole "lack of communication" for the next edition would be great since i have no clue who has done what or submitted what for this edition, and also, because the team is growing, we need to set a limit on how many pages we can each write to prevent an overload of articles being sent in.

So come on everyone, its time we worked together as a team and not as a solo unit because its getting us nowhere. And i do not want to spend another two weeks stressing about what people are doing and if they are going to get things done by deadline, for the next edition, i'd much rather leave then go through that again.

So, ideas and suggestions below along with anything you feel you want to keep til next edition.

What about we have a thread, a list basically, of who's doing what? I know we already have that, but then, when people have sent in their pieces, what if they post there, and then the 'list' gets edited in order for everyone to know who's finished what? And.... maybe we could have a word limit on how much we can write?

You can leave out Caro's interview if you want. I don't think that she'd be TOO devastated. Then it gives me time to cut it down, a lot. And we can just add it in as a random member interview. :D

I've already put the interview with Caro in for the moment, the problem is really the pictures sent in with a couple of the articles - I could put the article up without pictures though.

I think June's idea is a good one.

Meh. Mine had no pictures anyway. xD

The thing is, we DID have a list of what everyone is doing, its just no-one posted in what they were doing.

I like the Check thing, but the problem there is, would you all remember to check in or would i have to set the Badger Hounds on you all?

Lets drop the pictures, for this edition, and set word limits for the next.

I think interviews, CD Feature and Opinions should have top priorty for more words...maybe 3 page MAX on them? how many words does that work out at? *checks* okay 1,250 words for those...anyone disagree?

My reason for saying those 3 main things is because with interviews, you need to get a decent interview and having a mini one is okay but an in-depth one stands out more, its more fun to write and leaves way for atleats 10 questions. CD feature could be less depending on the size of the album being featured, but working on 13 tracks and giving a decent review would be more whats the word? something or other.....i'll edit this if i remember my word haha. And Opinions, well, we know how they went down xD It may be a case of, editting bits out and shrinking etc.

Book and Movie reviews...well i dont know much about these reviews having never wrote one, so what you suggest here?

Fashion i think if we do a Men's Feature one edition, Womens the next chilrends the next, we shouldnt run into problems with them except with the pictures we may need to leave pics out from time to time, depending on how much is on that certain edition.

Also, for interviews i think we should limit the amount done each edition, RPG interview is a main feature and i'm happy to leave Ettie Skeeter's mad roaming adventures out of every otehr edition if needs be, and well, next edition we'd need to mention the house and quidditch cup so maybe a joint interview with the winning house(es) .... ive forgot what i was going to say next

I've been doing long book interviews up till now, but I can do shorter ones next time if necessary. Oh yeah and Duckie, you can cut the Global Warming Opinion article from this edition if ya want...I've been meaning to make it funnier, anyway. xD

One Opinion per issue is enough I suppose...I'd rather the DD one stayed in for this edition.

So what would you say should be a max word count for a book review?

i think we should have a cheak list and have every1s names and what they are doing and once they have done it and sent it to amy we can put a line thou thjere name and what there doing just i thought.

nobody posted when they had done something or if they decided to do something else so i think in all honesty its pointless to have another one.

Ettie, I think *whispers* that you should tell us that the deadline is for example, Feb. 10 when really it is Feb. 24. Then when everyone is scrambling to get their stuff in just by the deadline or a day or two after *points at self* the stuff would actually be in on time. Also, we could send anxious PMs telling people that we're past deadline when in fact...*snicker* we're not. Nobody should know the true deadline except Amy and Ettie. I exclude myself because really I am a procrastinator and it would do everyone good if I thought the deadline was two weeks before it actually was. Or ten days. Or seven days. We won't know when the true deadline is until the paper's out... xD

I like that idea, Streams! xD I be a major procrastinator... it would help me as well.

*scartches head* ever since simple plan released When Im gone all i seem to see or hear is, procrastination or procrastinator!

Anyway, Streamies.... I like your idea, i likes a lot. I think we shall do it, you never know, which im going to do it, i may say NEXT DEADLINE 13th March. and it will be the actual deadline or maybe *wonders off thinking of ways to annoy everyone*
