You will not be marked purely on how long your posts are, yet you will be marked on the following:

* Defensive and offensive spells (both what spells are used and how well they are used)

* Eye for detail (both your own posts and others posts)
* Inventiveness and creativeness as a whole

Elladora steadily walked up to the room she was to duel in. Silencing the many thoughts of nerves and precautious excerises, she flexed her hand twice before placing it on the cold handle. Grasping it tightly, Elladora listened and felt for vibrations that might show if anyone had previously entered the room. Feeling nothing strange, she gingerly entered the room. Immediately, she closed her eyes.

The room was a blinding white, so pure that Elladora was having difficulties keeping her eyes open. After a while, Elladora thought, 'A few decorative touches wouldn't be such a bad idea.' Quite skillfully, Elladora withdrew her wand began drawing in mid-air, what she hoped the room would look like when it was finished. The reference for her mind's eye was complete and she now set to work on putting it into play.

A small debate drifted into her mind about using the tip of her wand to produce grass, but she quickly shrugged off the idea when she remembered that she had paper in her bookbag. Elladora swung the bookbag over her head and bent down to find the paper, the silvered tips of her long black hair touching the floor as she did so. With the piece of paper in hand, she transfigured it in stages: first to a wooden box, then to a tree, and (using a seed) to grass.

Satisfied with this work, Elladora carefully blasted a hole into the ground, being careful not to break through the story. "Aquamenti," Elladora said, and a spout of water flew out of her wand's tip and filled the magic-made pond. Although devoid of life, it contented her, and she now took to waiting for her opponent.

"Hello," Elladora told stephy as she walked in. "Shall we begin?" Elladora assumed the porper position for beginning any duel and bowed, always keeping an eye on stephy.

Stephy entered the room and quickly spotted the changes in the room along with Elladora who was standing in the middle of the room next to a little pond that Stephy had guessed that she had made herself. I knew I should of arrived ealier Stephy thought as she raised her wand and with a smile she replied "Yes, lets begin."

Stephy quickly pointed her wand at the pond that Elladora made and said "orior oriri ortus" (rise) and the water in the little pond quickly jumped up out of the ground and started to pour onto Elladora. Stephy then quickly flicked her wand again and shouted "congelo" (freeze) and Stephy knew that if she had time it just right then as the water poured down over Elladora that the freezing spell would freeze the water trapping Elladora inside of a block of ice.

Not waiting to see if her spells had worked Stephy knew that she had to quickly act and she turned her attention to the room. Now to make things a little bit harder Stephy thought as she raised her wand high and said "perpes obscurum" (never ending darkness) and all of the lights in the room went away leaving the two comsumed in darkness. Now to make it so that I will be able to see Stephy thought as she raised her wand to her eyes and whispered "nox noctis visum" (night vision) and now she was able to see shades of green instead of a wall of dark. Stephy then quickly scanned the room to see if Elladora had yet gotten out of her ice imprisonment

Elladora almost reacted too late to Stephy's Freezing Spell, but still managed to yell out "Protego!" to get a sheild put up, leaving her with a bit of frost in her long, black hair. Suddenly, a deep darkness fell upon them. Elladora knew better than to step left, into the pond she made, so she decided she'd rather see her surroundings to make it a bit easy.

"Abnocto aspectus," Elladora muttered calmly under her breath (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Night Vision'). With her new-found ability to see in the dark. She found Stephy through the nearly transparent ice cage and decided to continue onward with her attack. "Fulgur flamma!" Elladora thundered, her voice ringing in the darkness as a gargantuan ring of fire erupted from her wand's end (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Flash Fire'), melting down the from of the "cage" and scorching the grass into a looped appeal.

The blazing ring of fire illuminated all the surroundings, causing Elladora's night vision to be very blinding. Around Elladora was a sperical dome of ice with a gaping hole from the fire. She stepped out of her supposable imprisonment and aimed her next spell at the ice. "Conligo Ascendo!" (Latin: Dirrect Translation: 'Contract and Ascend) Respondantly, the ice morphed into what looked like a large disco ball and rose into the air. With a following, "Contendo!" the mass of ice hurled itself at the floor by Stephy's feet (Latin: Direct Translation: 'To Shoot'), shattering into flying, very dangerous icicles.

As Stephy turned around she saw that Elladora had managed to escape from her ice imprisonment and had formed the ice into a ball. Stephy quickly raised her wand waiting to see what would heppen next and once Elladora shouted "Contendo!" the ice ball hurtled towards her feet. Stephy quickly reacted by shouted "Protego" and a shield appeared protecting her from the ice as it shattered into millions of little pieces. This is going to be a bit harder than what I thought Stephy thought as she looked around the room trying to think of the right spell to use.

Stephy raised her wand and pointed it at the shards of ice and said "Glacies Monasteriense" (ice monster) and she stood back watching the ice quickly reasemble into the shape of a monster no bigger than three feet. Stephy then pointed her wand at it and said "Incurro" (attack) and she watched as the ice demon opened it's mouth showing it's teeth as it ran towards Elladora.

Now that she had a distraction Stephy then aimed her wand at Elladora and said "Infitialis vox vocis" (Negative Voices). Stephy hoped that Elladora was dueling against her that Elladora would start to hear voices in her head. These voices would start to tell her negative things like "Your losing" or "Your reaction time is slow", anything to distract her a little.

Elladora noticed a rather tiny ice monster running at her with point teeth, and couldn't help but choke back laughter, before realizing that it was indeed very dangerous. Reacting to this attack slower than usual, Elladora shouted out, "Fulmen Effundo!" (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Thunderbolt Discharge') The immediate effect was in action, from out of nowhere hundreds of thunderbolts fell on top of the monster when it was no less than ten paces away.

'Your reaction time is slow,' Elladora heard in her head. 'That won't do much damage.' Elladora distanced herself from the being and looked towards Stephy, knowing at once that she placed this curse on her. Amping up her Occlemency, and forgetting about the odd voices, Elladora took the offensive. While she also hoped the thunder would do some damage to Stephy, she went onwards attacking. "Diffindo!" she shouted, pointing her wand at the floor and watching it crack under the severing spell.

"Murex Recido!" Elladora shouted. (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Rock Recoil') A rather large chunk of earth shot itself up at the ceiling, recoiling off the top and hitting the wall behind Stephy, now heading straight at her. "Luminosus Corusco!" Elladora shot to create a massive amount of light in the darkness, hopefully to blind Stephy off-guard. (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Bright Flash') Elladora immediately sheilded her eyes from this array of light and fixedly stared at the floor.

Stephy smiled as she watched that Elladora didn't react as quickly as she had expected her to to get rid of the ice demon but she was suprised at how she got rid of it. Stephy stood there and watched as lightening appeared and toasted her little cute monster. She's better at dueling than what I thought STephy thought to herself, I'm going to have to step it up a nothc or she's going to win

Stephy watched as Elladora advanced towards her and she raised her wand ready to preform the first counterattack that came to mind but she didnt expect her to preform a spell that would crack the floor. Stephy watched as the crack started where the spell had hit and continued to work it's way across the room to the ends of the walls. Stephy quickly pointed her wand at the floor and said "reluctor detrimentum" (resist damage) and she watched as the cracks fromed around her not affecting the little part of ground that she stood on.

Stephy then looked up to see that Elladora now had a piece of the floor heading stright towards her but then she was blinded by light. Stephy shouted "Protego" and a shield charm appeared protecting her from most of the harm but she still recieved a few scratches. Stephy tried to see what was around her but she couldnt, there was just too much light. She knew that if she made it dark again then all Elladora had to do was wave her wand and make some light. Stephy raised her wand to her eyes and said "visum video vidi visum" (view to see) and she watched as the light dimed down and she was able to view the room clearly. This spell made it so that if the lighting in the room changed her eyes would ajust so that she would be able to see clearly.

Stephy looked around the room and quickly spotted Elladora. She raised her wand at her and shouted "silicis arca archa" (rock box) and the floor around her shot up into the air and encased Elladora in a box shape that was made out of the rock. She then pointed her wand around the box and said "congelo" (harden) and she watched as the rock harden. She then pointed her wand at the ground surrounding the rock box and said "subsido solum" (sinking floor) and the ground surrounding the box was truned into quicksand like substance. Stephy then performed this spell several more times out farther from the box so that almost the whole room's floor was like quicksand, all but where she stood. She then pointed her wand at her feet and said "non pessum ire" (not to sink) and she knew that if she was to step onto the quickand floor that she would not sink. Not yet satisfied, Stephy pointed her wand at the quicksand floor and said "Monasteriense" (monster) and a giatnt monster formed out of the quicksand and into a shape of a larg snake about ten feet long. Stephy smiled as she stood tehre and waited for Elladora to escape. There, I was nice in the beggining but now it's time to be tough Stephy thought

"Another imprisonment?" Elladora couldn't help but say aloud. She shrugged and sighed, before focusing all her attention on the pond ahe had created. Feeling nothing of it, she assumed that the ground had changed it's make unto the will of Stephy. 'A minor setback,' she thought. "Aquamenti!" Elladora yelled. A jet of water promptly burst from the end of her wand and quickly subsided as the water nearly drowned her.

Elladora was breathing in the remains of the little air she had left under a hardened rock. "Protego!" she thought of quickly, "Confringo!" Under the protection of her barrier, Elladora watched the rock blast away in front of her. With out any warning whatsoever, she began sinking. Realizing at once that this was the work of Stephy, she knew that she had to put herself in safety to properly attack. Panicking a bit from her suddenly sinking, Elladora quickly found an out: a tree she had placed was sinking, but slowly due to it's thickness.

With the quick thought of 'Diffindo' the tree cracked and fell on top of her. Within the midst of it's braches, Elladora heaved herself up with little difficulty as she hadn't been that deep in the quicksand. Elladora mounted herself on its wide trunk and faced Stephy, only to realize that Stephy had sent yet another monster at her. "Again?" Elladora let out. Elladora used several severing charms to cut the tree down to size and them shouted, "Subsisto Fluito!" (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Stay Floating'). Now atop a non sinking substance, Elladora hastened to rid herself of the monster.

A bit glad that she had become accustomed to monsters, Elladora knew she could quickly dispose of this one. Elladora was then struck with a revelation. 'Or...' she thought. "Compos!" Elladora shouted at the giant quicksand snake. (Latin: Direct Translation: 'Control') Under Elladora's command, the snake rushed past herself (so Stephy could assume the snake hit her) and made a quick round-about behind her and went back at it's creator. Sending it on ward, Elladora shouted, “Novacula Circumvado!” (Latin: Direct Translation: “Kinfe Attack”)

Elladora watched as a hundred knives flew from the tip of her wand and surrounded Stephy, attacking her with no hesitation. Then, for extra measure, she yelled out, “Protego!” to make sure that she wouldn’t be harmed while her defences were down.
