Phoenix glanced at riley.
"it ok riley and hi i'm phoenix" said phoenix smiling

Riley grinned and entered the cave after Holly.
Holly meanwhile, groped around in her pocket and drew out her wand.
"Lumos," she muttered, and the cave was instantly set alight.
"Nice," she said gritting her teeth.

Shadow still hadn't recovered and had curled herself into a tight ball, obeying her wolf instincts. She stared ahead of her, unseeing, unhearing, unmoving.

Holly glanced over and sighed.
She then made her way to the wolf acting Shadow and knelt beside her.
"Shad," she said slowly, "Shad...you alright?"

Natalie, who had been making a snowman, walked over to Shadow.

"Yeah....are you ok? That was pretty weird what happened at the lake." said Natalie.

Shadow sat up, groaning, holding her head in her hands.

"What happened?" Natalie asked.

"I don't know, I think I lost control... I can't remember..." Shadow said.

"You did....but then I saw what you saw....at least...I think I did....were you able to see the future?" Natalie asked.

"You kinda lost it," Holly admitted, "Nothing too serious though....you alright kiddo?"

"I can't remember anything." Shadow said.

Holly cocked her head to the side.
"Well all thats the past," she said bracingly, "We're camping here tonight....that alright with everyone?"

Shadow shrugged,
"Not much else we CAN do."

"Mm," Holly said, "Well Ill just......Ill go find food or something.....theres like a lake thing over there....Riley, come and help me?"
Riley nodded and followed her away.

"Like....anything....like even what happened...before the demon half of you took over?" asked Natalie

Holly glanced at Shadow, waiting for her answer, but kept walking further toward the lake.

Shadow shook her head.
"Nothing."

"Thats strange...because I can remember everything that happened in your mind....I can fill you in if you like." said Natalie.

"Give me a bit of time to straighten out my mind first." Shadow said.

A few moments later, Holly and Riley appeared, Riley carrying a fish.
"Ew," he said, laying it in front of the group.
"Voila!" he said, trying to be optimistic.
"We caught a fish," Holly said, though it was obvious.
"I caught a fish," Riley corrected.
"I helped!"
"Yeah if helping is saying "you missed it!" and "You missed it again!""
Holly scowled at him.
"Whatever," she said, being arrogant and what not.

Shadow glanced at it.
"Who's cooking?" Shadow said, planning on doing it herself.

"Whoever wants to," Holly spat, shivering and throwing herself down onto the cave floor.

Shadow unclipped her cloak, passing it to Holly before using her magic to create a small fire in the cave.

"I can cook....a bit....I can bake it...poach it or make sushi....which do you peeps want?" asked Natalie.

Holly looked at Shadows outstretched arm for a moment before taking it off her.
"Thank you," she said quietly, a kind of apology for her earlier outburst, "Wont you be cold now?"

"Demonic blood. I'll be ok." Shadow assured her.

"So....will I cook...I only burnt a house down once...I swear." said Natalie, kidding.

We. Are. All. Going. To. Die." Shadow said simply.

Holly nodded to Shadow before resuming her sulk by looking at the floor.
Rileys eyes flickered over to her once or twice, but no one said anything.

"No we're not....not if I can help it....has anyone brought a copy of the Standard book of spells grade 5?" Natalie asked.

Shadow felt on edge as she sensed Holly's emotions, but tried to hide it.

"No we havent brought the bloody-"
Holly stopped and shook her head in disbelief.
"No," she said again and rolled her eyes.

"What spell do you need?" Shadow asked.

"Holly," said Natalie sternly," "I only asked because that has all the spells for surviving in it....hang on....ah...it's ok, I have a copy in my bookbag," said Natalie, taking it out.

She cast a bluebell flame spell on some snow.

"That will stay lit for as long as we need it," said Natalie, "and I have marshmellows." She took a pack out of her bag.

Holly glanced over as this was happening, drawing Shadow's cloak in around her as the icy winds blew in through the mouth of the cave.
"Sorry," Holly muttered sourly.

Shadow's temper snapped as she felt the emotions radiating off Holly.
"Can you dull down the sulk a bit?!"

"No...I'm sorry....look, we need to get on...if we don't we could end up killing each other before we freeze...and if I can help you servive, none of you will freeze." said Natalie comfortingly.

Holly glanced up eyes wide at the suddenness.
"Whatever," she muttered, looking at the floor again.

Shadow hovered in the air, legs crossed in a lotus position, chanting something. A shimmering black shield covered the entrance, keeping out the icy wind.
That should help a bit Shadow's voice said, echoing from around the cave.

"Holly...please tell me whats up...you can't keep freezing me out," said Natalie quietly.

Holly glanced up surprised. She was no longer cold.....but it was very dark.
She swallowed and felt around for George, until she remembered he was stunned.
She let her eyes dart around the cave for a moment before looking at the floor again.

"Holly...I can help...if you need to talk about something" said Natalie

"Im fine" Holly muttered, and in a sudden flash of intelligence she took out her wand.
"Lumos,"
The cave lit up a little more.

"Thats perfect...just what I need...I'll read up on some more survival spells." said natalie thankfully.

Holly nodded and sighed lightly. By the light of the wand she could see Riley staring at her, and then every so often glancing down at the bundle that was George.

"Hows George?" asked Natalie, looking over her book.

Riley shrugged.
"Im not sure. I dont know how to tell.....only...," his voice softened as he looked at Holly, "Only Holly can tell,"
"Well my head hurts and im annoyed," Holly said, "Might that mean hes not good?"

"Could do." Shadow said quietly, concentrating on keeping the shield in place.

"Possibly...have you tried Enervate?" asked Natalie, trying to be helpful.
