Epilogue?

I never really liked the Epilouge, I always thought it could have been better. It did provided a little closure for me though...

My question is... do you think they'll include it at the end of the movie?


Personally, I say no. I think they might do those little word snippets
For example:
(A shot of Harry)
Harry Potter successfully defeated the Dark Lord and returned to Hogwarts to complete his final year...
He married Ginny Weasley and had three kids:...
Albus Severus Potter, Lily Potter and James Potter....



And then they continue on with the rest of the main characters.

I think that they will likely include the scene from the epilogue. My main reason for feeling this way is that they made the decision to divide the film in two so they could keep as much as possible. I don't imagine any reason for them to cut it, unless they felt it was too sugar-coated, as many people did.

I do actually like the concept of just going to a shot of adult Harry and doing the blurb, then moving on to Ron & Hermione. However, I think that would go even longer than necessary, if they are to include everyone Rowling managed to squeeze in. You figure, they'd have the trio, Malfoy, Neville, Teddy, and Percy. Unless they just left all the others out and focused on the trio.

I dont know....but I want it to be. And trying to fit it all in want make no sense to those who cant read the books or dont want to. There is soooooo much they taken out and gaven neville credit for and hate that.....Dobby- gilly weed and ROR

But no....neville finds those both.....and I hated it because how is dobbt going to fit into the movie.....and there is alot more i want to put.....but i have to wait til HBP comes out to say it.

they can't leave out the most important bit of the hole book!
People usually just watch the movies how are they going to feel!
but im sure the directors wont be that selfless!

First of all , Harry didn't go back to finish the year only hermione did.XD

I think that they should do the Epilogue as written. It would have a much bigger impact emotionally and closure wise than just subtitles.

subtitles...thank you. I for some reason couldn't find the word I was hunting for. Upon reflection, I think it would be better to keep the epilogue as is. Why fix something if it ain't broke? Of course, some would say it was broken to begin with, but that's a separate issue.

Epilogue?! :D

*cough* .. well, I belong to those who say it was broken to begin with, so in my opinion, they should leave it *out* .. or else, have it as an extra scene on DVD, that way the fans can watch it, if they want to, and people at the cinema won't be traumatized by its baaaad fanfiction-ness xD

If they want to put it in, though, it must be complete with pictures, not just text, because the text, in my opinion, only fits to sad epilogues or bits of text that make you think. But it *would* be a good idea to put the epilogue after the credits, so that people like me have time to run away ^_____^"
