The JK Rowling Scrapbook Project

This project has been idling away for over a year. Other site things became more important and it got pushed to the back burner.

That said, we’re going to hopefully restart the project if there is the interest.

Read through all the information – because the original intent is slightly different – and then post in the correct thread if you intend to participate.

We still think it would be a great thing to do, and hopefully you all do too

The Aim

Our aim for the project is to create a scrapbook, filled with letters, artwork, other bits and pieces and our heartfelt thanks to Jo Rowling for creating this magical world we all know and love.

We want to create an actual scrapbook to send to Jo sometime later this year.

What sorts of things are we going to include in the scrapbook?

Handwritten Letters

If you wish, you can send a handwritten letter or message to be included in the scrapbook. Once your letter is written, please PM me for information of where to send it.

Artwork

The art lovers amongst you may wish to send some artwork to be included in the scrapbook. If this is computer based artwork, then it can be sent electronically, but if it is more traditional art then it can be sent via the post. Again, PM me for the information of where to send it.

Typed Letters

If you don't want to/are unable to send a handwritten letter to us, you could type one instead. Just send it to me via e-mail or PM.

Photographs

You can send us a photo to be included on the page with your letter, if you wish. Again, electronically or by snail-mail as above.

Anything else!

If you have any more ideas of what we can include in the scrapbook, tell us in the Ideas thread.

Dates

We're going to set a provisional date for all of your messages and artwork for the 30th June 2008. This is over two months away and should be plenty of time!

Of course, as this is only a provisional date it may change.
