Elladora stared at Emmalynn, re-fastening her cloak and tightened her shoes for the trek.

Emmalynn grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom to change. After she was in more comfortable clothes, she threw on her warmest cloak and boots.

"Okay, let's head out," she said.

Emmalynn was tossing and turning in her sleep. "No... Stay... away..." she mumbled, thrashing and tangling herself in the sheets. "NO!" she yelled, sitting up and simultaneously falling out of her bed, taking her bed dressings with her.

"OW!" Elladora screamed, for she had been (until now) secretly sleeping on the floor next to Emmalynn's bed and was now crushed.

"Emmalynn," Elladora whispered as loudly as possible. "If that fall didn't wake you something very unpleasant will!"

"Elladora?" Emmalynn called. "What're you doing on my floor?" Emmalynn rolled off of Elladora and untangled herself from the blankets that had been dragged off her bed. She bundled them up and tossed them onto her four-poster.

Emmalynn looked undecidedly at Elladora. "Are you okay?" she mumbled meekly.

"Ugh. Yeah, I'm fine," Elladora said, pressing her stomach as if to keep the guts from falling out of it. "What're you doing rolling out of bed for anyway? You usually sleep 'til noon!"

Emmalynn rubbed her neck and laughed awkwardly.

"Uh, yeah...that...nightmare," she said quietly. Again, she thought.

"What happened?" Elladora asked, climbing up onto Emmalynn's bed and fixing the sheets. She grabbed her wand and cast a few charms at Emmalynn's dorm mates so they wouldn't wake.

"What was your dream?"

Emmalynn crawled back under her sheets. "Eh... Just the usual, really," she said sleepily. "It's the fifith time this week, though, and it's only Wednesday..."

Elladora stared at Emmalynn. "Five days haven't even passed this week. Have you been sleeping in class?"

Emmalynn shook her head. "Not really... It just wakes me up and then I have it again when I fall back to sleep... If I fall back to sleep." She saighed and buried her face in her pillow to muffle her yell. "It's really getting annoying."
