Which star wars did you like best - the original or the newer ones? I thought the newers ones were funny but i didnt really watch the older ones.

I loved the old ones!!! I think they are the best! And no one shall replace Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamil and Harrison Ford in my heart!!!


But I don't like the new ones. The first was kind of cute, with the small boy and all, but the 2nd one was just... er... not Star Wars. I didn't even watch the 3rd one

But what about jarjar binks? he is just the funnyest!

I cried in RotS, when Anakin went to the "DARK SIDE" (scary music plays). Padme is cool, i liked her a lot. But she died..... *cries*

oh, and hayden christiansan is really HOTT

Well, I love all Star Wars! They're just great! In the old ones I liked Han Solo's humor, so he was my fav.. And I can never stop laughing at the scene where Luke goes to Dagobah and meets Yoda, without knowing it, and Yoda starts to hit R2-D2 with his little stick.

"Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!" while he hits poor poor R2 with the stick..

In the new ones i always liked Obi-Wan.. Ewan McGregor, mmm... Do I need to say more? And Padme was cool, me liked her. Anakin in the third movie, oh god, did he have to turn evil!? Oh well, evil fits him... and I like men in costumes! rofl.

John Williams music is just perfect. So sad... Well, I like John Williams' music in general so...

Old Star Wars: (4-6) 9/10

New Star Wars: (1-3) 10/10

These are good. I really like them. 9/10 stars.

Being a big Star Wars fan, I liked them all, but the newer ones kind of weren't as good even though they had special effects. The graphics were great but the storyline was shaky.

I liked the old ones, but I've only seen parts of the new ones... the parts I saw were good, though! I liked the very last one... I think its called "The Jedi Returns" or something the best... I loved the little furry bear things that Leia (sp?) stayed with...

I just loved him for some reason. And Obi-Wan. Of course. You cannot not like him! But yeah... I still prefer the oldies. Although I still like the new ones. Haven't watched them in a while. Hmm

I think I might be the only person alive who doesnt actually like these films. I dont know what it is but there is something about them which bores me, and the cliche about 'luke i am your dad' its been overused!

*nothing* beats sitting down with your friends and watching A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi back to back XD They might not be as pretty as the new ones, but I think that's part of the charm. We watch them all on VHS when we can...there's just something plastic and fake about the new ones...or is that just Hayden Christensen I'm thinking of? XD

But serious...Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill...any day over Ewan Macgregor, Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman.

But I hate hate hate the new movies... I mean, the first one was not *that* bad... young Anakin was sweet and the plot was good. But the second one turned into a cheesy romance movie which is just NOT Star Wars! *throws it in fireplace and grins happily while it buuuurns* I didn't even watch the 3rd one. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite one ^^ Though A New Hope is pretty good too and so is Return of the Jedi... lol XD

Eh, I'm not really into Star Wars. I've seen two out of the whole series! It doesn't interest me that much.

See, I thought the third was the best out of the new three. The acting is utterly abysmal throughout all of them, but if you force yourself to see past that, the story and the mood of the third is actually quite good.

And Obi-Wan fighting Anakin was just plain cool.

We had a nice discussion during Math calss about Star Wars... mostly it was the two Juniors and my fellow eigth grade guy talking about it.... mostly the eighth grader.... ah well, it was a discussion nevertheless!

But I've only seen a few parts of the whole thing.... it seems okay

Episodes 1- 3 however, are not so great. What happened George Lucas ? Eh ? Revenge of the Sith is an excellent movie - Hayden even performs a lot better, he appears to be slightly less wooden. The other two are just piles of rubbish !

have you noticed that Luke skywalker is abit like Harry both were brought up by their aunt and uncle and had no idea of there ability until someone came and told them. Both their enemy's are really evil and like to wear black there mentors are both old and wise XD

yea they are alike and thats why they are both so awesome movies.... yay harry potter and star wars
