The Dream

Hayley woke up, breathing heavily, and shaking.The dream had been so vivid. There was Voldemort, standing in The Great Hall, and nobody else was there exept Holly and herself. Voldemort raised his wand, and uttered the spell that would end Holly's life. Holly fell, slumped to the floor, eyes lifeless, not breathing. That was when Hayley woke up. She threw off her quilt, and climbed out of bed. She had to see Holly. She put on her dressing gown, and walked across the room.

Holly mumbled as something shook her awake.
"What?" she asked crossly, and with further knowledge realised it was Hayley.
"Whats the matter?" she asked scared.

"Oh God," Hayley replied shaking. "You're okay?" she sat down on the edge of Holly's bed. "Let's go for a walk, I'll tell you," she slipped her slippers on, and waited for Holly.

Holly rubbed her eyes and sighed.
"What the checker board-"
But she too, stepped out of bed, her Vans PJ's glistening in the moonlight.

Natalie woke up.

"Yo dormies...what happened?" she asked, shocked at the sight of Hayley's face.
She got up out of bed and gave her a hug.
"Did you have a nightmare?" Natalie asked.

"More than a nightmasre...." said Hayley, walking to the door. "C'mon, let's go for a wander. I'll tell yous then," she said.

"Ok," said Natalie, putting her silky Chinese patterned dressing gown on over her Good Guy PJ's.

Hayley quietly undid the latch on the door, so as not to wake anyone else.

Eliza had snuck in to visit her friends, and stopped by the dor as it swung open.
"Midnight stroll?" Eliza said casually, but saw how Hayley looked shocked. "What's wrong?"

"We were wondering the same thing," Natalie reassured Eliza

"She had a nightmare," Holly explained, "We're walking it off, you fancy coming?"

Hayley still stood shaking, paying little attention to what was going on. "I fancy a trip down to the kitchens," she said quietly.

"Yeah, I'll come." Eliza said. "But I think we should be careful - I overheard Filch plotting..."

Holly nodded solemly.
"We'll be careful," she promised, "Let's go,"
She stepped aside for Eliza to pass through first.

Natalie followed the others, hoping Hayley was okay.

Holly strolled on down the corridor, feeling a little frightened. She had never seen the castle so quiet. And she had been on a lot of rebellious journeys.

Hayley linked her arm through Holly's, something they had done ever since they were scooting about on trikes. She stopped when she thought she heard voices, but started again when they stopped. Blueberry came from beneath her dressing gown, and said, "Hayley had a very disturbing dream where you died Holly."

Natalie gasped and linked arms with Hayley also.

"How?" Natalie asked, nearly in tears at the prospect.

"How?" Holly asked, biting her lip.
George shivered, and rubbed his head on Holly's cheek, as if checking she was definately there.

Natalie looked at George and stroked his little head.

"I know...I'm shocked too," she said soothingly to the monkey.

Eliza looked disturbed. "Do you think you were... Seeing." She knew what that was implying. "Well, I'm a Seer, so if I havn't Seen anything..." She was trying to make amends for what she had said.

Natalie didn't understand this.

"Don't worry...I'm sure it wasn't a vision of the future," said Natalie, trying to be helpful.

((sorry for that complicated sentence, but I was making Eliza ramble. She means that since Eliza hasn't Seen anything, Holly will be ok))

"Let's go to the kitchens..." Eliza said, sincerly regretting having said anything.

Hayley smiled at Eliza, "I know what you meant," she said kindly, then added, "It better not be a vision of the future," she babbled, holding Holly's arm tighter. They finally got to the floor where the kitchen was. Hayley reached up, and tickled the pear, to open the kitchen door.

"Better not be," Holly muttered, climbing through the portrait.

Despite the situation, Eliza laughed.
"Who's there?" A hoarse voice called out.
Eliza cast an illusionment charm on them all, and felt the familier egg-leaking feeling. She drew against the wall, pulling the others with her.

Holly stumbled as Eliza pulled her back, but remained silent all the same.
"What?" she breathed to her.

"Whats happening?" Natalie asked, drawing her wand out of her Good Guy Jammie pocket.

Holly held her wand out further.
"Who're you?" she demanded to the Shadowy figure.

The figure was silent.

"I said talk to me goddamnit," she said, and conjured a fire, "or else I'll throw you in the fire."

Holly approved of Natalie's quick thinking.
"Nice," she said approvingly.
The figure stepped forward suddenly, and Holly was quite sure this was not the same figure Eliza had been speaking to.
Quick as a whip he had magical chains around Holly, as was dragging her into an unknown portrait in the dungeons.

"Oh no you don't," said Natalie, grabbing the figure from behind. She whipped him around. It was that creep who had tried to kill them at Holly's house. She held her wand up.

"CRUCIO!" she yelled, and ment it...this man had tried to kill her two friends.

The man released Holly and fell to the floor, writhing in pain and yelling.

((Oh come now, there needs to be a WEE bit of crime and such!))

Holly had time to wriggle a few metres, but in no time at all the man had taken her, and thrust her forward into the portrait, and cast a spell on it.....no magic could penetrate it anymore.

Natalie uttered the F word loudly.

She stepped in front of Holly.

"If you want to kill Holly you'll have to kill us too," said Natalie loudly.

((DOOOD how could ya stand in front of me when im in the room with the fella and the doors locked....im starting to sound like someone i know....lmao))

Holly wriggled as the man took a long knife from his coat pocket.
"Ive been wanting to do this for three years," he muttered evilly, "Finally the Bristol's will all be gone for good....,"
And he thrust the knife through Holly's stomach.

((Oh lol...see I did not get that))

Natalie hammered the door.

"HOLLY! LET US IN!" yelled Natalie.

Holly choked, retched....and became limp and still.
The man took the charm off the door, and took himself away, grinning.

Natalie durst into the room and ran straight to Holly.

"HOLLY! What the Hell has that *insert swearing insult here* done to you?!" Natalie yelled.

Eliza was stunned. She saw Holly limp on the floor. She was horrified, then angry. The man was walking down the stairs, in no hurry, for what could young girls do to him? Big mistake.
Eliza encased the man in aclear sphere of ice. She descended the steps towards him.
"You killed Holly... So you will be killed." She lowered the temperature in the sphere, and soon he was stiff with cold. He tried to speak, but his voice was croaky.

((I've got panto auditions next week, yay!))

Hayley teleported with Blueberry's help into the dungeons, to find Holly lying on the floor. "Holly-" she screamed, as she saw blood spurting from her stomach. She looked up, horrified at the man who had done this. She screamed terrible names at him, even though he was stiff and dead. She began to cry, Holly was surely dead.....
"Holly....c'mon Bris!" she yelled. "HOLLY!" she screamed, tears streaming from her eyes. She fell to the floor, poundong it in fury. "Riley..." she said to Blueberry, and the rabbit quickly left the room insearch for him.

With a croak, the man died a slow and horrible death. Eliza, avenged but not any happier, sank to the floor next to Hooly. She looked paler than usual.

Hayley whipped out her wand. "Enervate," she said, using a spell she had heard Natalie use so often. When nothing happened, she yelled, "Expecto Patronum!" her silvery white kitten few from the wand, and Hayley said, "Get Pomfrey- now," and the kitten left. Blueberry weas nuzzling Holly's neck, willing her to wake up. She looked at Eliza. "I don't know what I'd do if...if she..." she trailed off gulping. She put her hand in Holly's and squeezed, as if giving some of her own strength to her best friend. "Bris....c'mon....Riley....Hayley and Natalie...Shadow, Eliza....slushies?" she said trying to jog her.

Eliza shook her head feebly, and tried to search for a pulse, but it was hard. So she recalled her ABCs of First Aid. She placed Holly in the position requiered. (On the stomach-side, one arm behind to stop rolling, the other supporting the head, head on it's side, legs spread-eagled, a little).
"Ok, she's not choking on her tongue... check. Pulse..." Eliza felt, but the blood made her stop, and grimace.
"Should we clear away the blood?"

Hayley nodded, and whipped out her wand. She qiuckly cleared up the blood.

Eliza helped to siphon it off, but the amount of blood coming from Holly's open wound...
"We must put pressure on it, it's just bad luck it's in the stomach... Here.' She summoned a piece of cloth, clean.
"Try that until Madame Pomfrey comes."

Hayley took the cloth, and pushed in into the wound, just hard enough to stop the blood spurting. "C'mon Holly...wake up," she said quietly.

"She better get here soon," George muttered, stroking Holly's face.
He himself was pale....for a monkey.
"Where's Riley?"

There was a pop, as Blueberry arrived with Riley. Hayley jumped up, an hugged, him. "I don't know what to do..." she whispered to him.

Riley grew pale at the sight of Holly and he swore and ran his hands through his hair.
"Oh my.....how can we.....Holly....HOLLY! HOLLY WAKE UP BABES!"
George shuddered.

Riley's shouting scared Hayley slightly, and her eyes welled up again. "Riley, please don't shout!" she said gulping back more tears.
