Elements of Alchemy

Alchemy is an early science and theoretical speciality which combines many fundamental elements, including chemistry, metallurgy, physics, medicine, astrology, semiotics, mysticism, spiritualism, and art.

What are these elements?

Chemistry

Chemistry is the discipline of substance at or near the smallest scale, ie: the atomic scale. It deals with the properties of such matter, the revolutions of matter and the communications of matter with other matter and with energy. Chemistry first and foremost studies atoms and compilations of atoms such as molecules, crystals or metals that make up ordinary matter.

Metallurgy

Metallurgy is an area of resources, science and of materials manufacturing that examines the physical and chemical behavior of metallic fundamentals, their inter-metallic composites and their mixtures, which are called alloys.

Physics

Physics is the science of the natural world, which deals with the primary elements of the universe, the forces they wield on one another, and the results of these forces. Physicists study an extensive range of physical occurrences across all length scales, from the ordinary matter to the behavior of the material Universe as a whole (cosmology).

Medicine

Medicine is straight forward. It is simply the branch of health science and the division of public life concerned with upholding human health or bringing it back it through the treatment of disease and injury.

Astrology

Astrology refers to any of numerous systems, customs or beliefs in which information of the positions of celestial bodies is held to be useful in comprehending, interpreting, and sorting out knowledge about human relationships and events on Earth.

Semiotics

Semiotics is the study of signs, both individually and grouped in sign systems. It includes the study of how meaning is made and understood.

Mysticism
Mysticism is the search of finding identity with, or conscious awareness of, ultimate reality, the divine, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition, or insight; and the belief that such experience is an important source of knowledge or understanding. It is the belief of things that you can not see.

Spiritualism

Spiritualism is the conviction that the spirits of the dead can be contacted by adepts.

Art

Another obvious element. Art is simply a skill or craft in use with your surroundings
