Subject: Ravenclaw Pass the Parcel, Prom Edition! Wed May 21 2008, 10:57

Welcome to the Prom Edition of Pass the Parcel! The rules are simple, take a seat and pass the parcel while the music plays. Me or another Ravenclaw will pop in to stop the music and if the parcel's in your hand then you get the prize inside! As this is the Prom edition the present will be in keeping with that theme. Get ready to Pass the Parcel!

Here's the first package:

Now for your listening pleasure we'll have the first song be a classic Prom song, 'I've Had The Time Of My Life'. Watch the dirty dancing please, this is a family friendly site!

Elana twirled over to Kate and took the parcel from her hands, grinning. She shook it, but couldn't guess what was inside...

Emmalynn skipped over to Elana and took the parcel from her. "Don't you love this song?" she asked, humming the music.

Shausto reached out and took the parcel from Emmalyn, twirling to the music as she did so. "I wonder what could be in here..the paper is certainly shiny enough for me...."
She drifted off as she stared at the sparkling paper.

'Baila el Chiki Chiki!", Cris shouted as she danced through the room using her funniest dance moves. She used her frantically moving hands to grab the parcel and place it on her head, then danced on. The parcel soon slipped off the top of her head. Cris took hold of it lightly, shouted "Whooops, flying parcel!", then threw it into the arms of a random person next to her and went on with her freaky dance.

Shausto watched warily as Cris danced into the room, waving her arms wildly. Deciding it would probably be better if Cris didn't walk straight into her, Shausto quickly took a step to the side to clear way for the lunatic--uh,*cough* Cris. Cris' dancing was contagious, and Shausto soon found herself dancing around as well, singing along to the song in a horribly off-key voice, until she heard Cris yell "flying parcel!" and something hard fell into her hands. Shausto took hold of the parcel and waved it around wildly to the beat of the song as she hit a painful high note.

Rigby snuck into the room and stood behind Shausto. With a wave of her hand the music stopped and Rigby indicated that Shausto could open the parcel. Hopefully the Ravenclaw would enjoy the Silver Pearl Keepsake Wrist Corsage

Rigby shook a new parcel out of her sleeve, handing it to the next Prom hopeful and cued the music to Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars'

Emmalynn was given the new parcel. "Wow, Shausto! That's beautiful!" she said admiring Shausto's gift. She looked hopefully at the box in her hands and wondered what is was, while she moved onto the dance floor and started moving to the beat.

"Eeeep" Polly squeed when she saw what game they were playing. Polly and Aaron had had some pretty fun times playing this game. Taking the parcel from the previous person she held it out for the next.

Taking the outstretched parcel from Polly, Elana weighed it in her hands, trying to guess again. Realizing that she really wasn't good at guessing, she shrugged and held it out.

Zoe happily took the parcel, shook it, smelt it and realising she still didn't have a clue what the parcel contained, passed it over and started to dance around.

Cris took the parcel, humming to the song with her eyes closed. She used the parcel as her dance partner in a slow yet funny dance around the room, then passed it on to the next person. "Have fun!", she told them giggling and steered towards the food corner.

Emmalynn took the parcel from Cris, trying and failing to figure out what it was. She spun around with the parcel in outstreched hands for the next person to take.

Zoe gladly took the parcel, looked at the lovely packing, but had an urge to tear off the paper, which she had to swallow back down and hold the package out for the next person.

Emmalynn took the packege again, singing a quick 'thank you' to Zoe, in the rhythym of the music. She was very relaxed, just spinned and swaying to the music.

Emmalynn took the parcel. She spun with it some more, wondering when they would give it to someone. She hoped it was her as she held it out for the next person.

Rigby stepped lightly into the room. She cut the music off, and was happy to see the parcel end up in Emmalynn's hands. Hopefully the Slytherin would like the matching jewelery for Prom.

She cued the music to start again, this time "I Will Possess Your Heart" by Death Cab For Cutie, and handed the next parcel to the eager players.

Zoe took the box, looked at the plain wrapping, lokked at Emmalynns beutiful set with envy and passed the plain box on with a scowl.

Shausto sprinted into the room, nearly running into Zoe in her haste. Smiling wickedly, she took the brown package from Zoe, wondering if Rigby had just run out of time to decorate it. However tempting it was to pull out a blue Sharpie and graffiti the wrapping--and believe me it was tempting--Shausto instead went back to shaking the present gently. She passed the package to the person next to her as she had already gotten a gift.

Emmalynn grinned at her prize. She couldn't believe they would just give away something so beautiful! She quickly put on the gorgeous jewelry and pranced around the dance floor.

Bella walked into the room and sat down. She took the parcel from Shausto who seemed to be eyeing the plain paper. Bella passed held it out for the next person.

Zoe once again took the plain parcel, and shook it, and realising what ever was in the box may be frgile, refrained from shaking it, instead doing the cha-cha with the box. After a quick 16 beats, Zoe held it out and did another quick spin
