I have noticed that during duels people will say that they placed an invisiblity spell on themselves and that they no longer can be seen by anyone. I was wondering if we have something like the animagus training and the wand exams and have it so that students must pass tests about invisibilty and the Disillusionment charm. As they progress in thier training when they go to use a disilliusionment charm thier spell will become more powerful making it harder for them to be seen. Once they pass all of thier exams and tests then thier disilliusionment charm will be so powerful that when they use it on themselves they would not be able to see even themselves... If we do this then when it comes to dueling everyone cant just turn themselves in invisibile and it would make dueling more insteresting

So do you agree that we should have tests/exams on invisibilty and the Disillusionment charm so to make the dueling tournament funnier and more challanging or do you think it's a waste of time.....

Yes I think we should cause its really annoying if someone just makes themselves invisable cause it makes it really hard to attack them with out godmodding so I think it would be great! Maybe you could get a percentage at the end of your test and the higher the percentage the stronger your charm is??? Just an idea.

I like the percentage thing... and for those who dont duel it would also be a great way to earn some extra house points too...lol

I really think that is a good idea. The whole invisibility/dissillusionment thing is kind of questionable.

Okay, let's just say posting + talking on the phone = bad idea for Pamela. That was a severely under-developed comment for me. I'm not even sure I made sense. What I was trying to say is that I have an issue with the use of disillusionment/invisibility in duels--at least in the tournaments. I used a spell similar to disillusionment in the previous round, but upon reflection, I think the use was questionable.

I am of the opinion that disillusionment charms are probably on the same level of difficulty as apparition and animagus training, so it would be likely that they would require special work. Aside from that fact, it would be a fun extra exam to do. Unfortunately, that means more work for those who are in charge, and they already have a lot on their plates.

So, to get to the actual point...I think this is a good idea, but one that may be difficult to see through.
