Twilight Debate #1: Should Bella become a Vampire or Not?

Please sign up below, when we have at least 10 people signed up I will start the debate and at the time you will be assigned your side of the argument. This debate will be opened for at least two weeks, but for sake of the debate no events can be used from Breaking Dawn as part of your arguments. If any spoilers are posted they will be deleted and you will lose your points.

Please note that I have only read the first 4 chapters of Twilight. I'm baising my facts on what I have read so far. And not to the standard of Twilight knowledge as the others.

I think Bella should become a Vampire so Edward can feel comfortable around her. Edward doesn't feel that Bella's safe around him and if she became a vampire too then he would feel at ease towards her, and also grow to love her in an unconditional way.Also I think Bella would feel more comfortable as a vampire, mainly because she knows taht they are vampires and probibly feels uncomfortable herself, being the outcast.

I do not think Bella should become a vampire. Her becoming a vampire will further complicate things in their relationship, and her current relationships. If Bella were to be changed, not only would she have to turn her back on everything familiar, but she would most likley start a war between the vampires and the werewolves.
Also, her becoming a vampire may in fact make Rosalie mad at her. Rosalie dosn't want Bella to turn her back on her humanity, and thats all she would be doing.

I think that bella should ebcome a vampire so that she and Edward would be able to get more closer to each other. What kind of realyionship do they have when Edward has to make sure that he doesnt get the temptation to bite her. If she was to be changed into a vampire than he wouldnt have to worry about that. Also Bella would be able to do more fun activities with the other vamipres like play baseball. She wouldnt feel like an ouitcast.

To bite or not to bite.

Bella Swan. A human who has been granted the gift of mortality something which many of the vampires would kill for. It is Bella’s wish to become a vampire but it is not for a reason such as to save the world but for as selfish one. For love and herself. But Edward will always love her no matter how old she gets beauty is not only skin deep and he will love Bella no matter what. It is for that reason which I think Bella should not be turned into a vampire. She’s doing it for selfish reasons thinking only of her self and not looking at the consequences of these actions.
For a first she will break Jake’s heart even more. Not only has she at first chosen Edward over him but she has chosen to become what Edward is and destroy her self and make it ‘impossible’ for them to be friend. I put impossible like that because its not if they tried hard but they will be fighting against a life long hate and not to mention the physical revolution which these two will hold for each other because of the different sides they remain on. She will cease to be neutral.
Not only will it hurt Jake but also her parents. People whom have brought her up and will never be able to see her again. Those of you who have children imagine your child leaving and never coming to see you again, the bond between parents and children is one so strong and unbreakable that this act would simply kill them inside out.
And she will not only hurt the people close to her but random People in the street whom she has never spoken to. Their blood might be appealing to them and at first she may not have learnt to control the urges and simply kill these people because she’s hungry.
Of course I think Bella also does not know the full extent of the things which she is doing. If she looked at this from another persons point of view hers would be different. Her reasons for becoming a vampire are selfish and will cause more pain than is necessary.
