Finding Shadow

Violet walked into the forest. She wanted to started there first.

"I love that accent," Natalie muttered to Vrael, "it's so nice to hear amongst the English and Irish over here."

Violet raised an eyebrow and sat down on the ground.

"I thank you." Vrael said to Natalie.

Violet made a motion with her hands.

Natalie grinned at Vrael.

Vrael smiled back.

"Oh great...mini mes." She mumbled.

"This be not a time for immaturity." Vrael said with a bored expression.

"Then knock some sense into Shaeman and I can be mature and immature at the same time. That is, if he isnt hiding behind someone." Violet said.

"I agree...don't be immature," said Natalie, glaring at Violet.

"You would agree with anyone without a pulse." Violet said, standing up.

Vrael didn't show his anger, keeping his usual impassive expression, even though his hands were twitching.

"Wheres Seth at? I know he has to be hungry." Violet mumbled.

"I a bit hungry at the moment actually," said Natalie, taking a blood pop out of her bag, "want one Vrael?"

"Yes...but I feed Seth." Violet mumbled to herself.

Natalie had the strong urge to bit Violet to teach her a lesson.

Violet touched her neck lightly. Sighing, she sat back on the ground. "Whats up with you?" She asked.

Vrael put a ha,d on Natalie's shoulder to keep her calm.

Violet sighed, wishing Shaeman or Seth was there so she had someone to talk to.

Natalie looked up and smiled greatfully at Vrael.

Violet started humming.

"Woah, sorry I passed out," Holly said, "Whats happenin?"

"Nothing." Violet said.

Natalie eyes filled with tears as the song Violet was humming filled her ears.

"My grandmother used to sing me that song...before.." said NAtalie.

"Oh...sorry." Violet said.

"Before what?" Holly asked biting her lip.

"Before she became a vampire!" Violet yelled. "I swear." She mumbled.

"It's ok....you didn't know," said Natalie, wiping her eyes, "I'm just thinking about too much is all."

She turned to Holly.

"Before...she...you know," said Natalie.

"Oh, then passed." Violet mumbled, laying back.

"Yes," said NAtalie, " and would it hurt you to be a bit less insensitive."

"Yeah," Holly said to Violet, "Quit makin' assumptions babe."

"I grew up with murder." Violet said, laying back. "I grew up know three things." Violet said.

Natalie hugged Holly greatfully.

"Murder, giving your body, and never show weakness. So sorry if I dont really know what its like to lose someone." Violet said, keeping her eyes closed.

Vrael glared at Violet.

"I can feel that you know." Violet said, turning her head to look at him.

"Sorry Violet," said Natalie appologetically.

"Whatever." Voilet said, closing her eyes again. 'Shaeman, are you made at me?' She thought to him

"Okay this is gonna sound rude, but who are you again?" Holly asked Vrael, "You....Shaeman's bro?"

Vrael nodded his head.
"Yes, I am kin to Daniel."

Violet busted out laughing.

"Oooh," Holly said nodding, "And Daniel is ... who?"

"Daniel be Shaeman." Vrael said, confused. "He told you not?"

"Shaemans real name." Violet said, laughing again

"Daniel?" Natalie asked.

"He told me after he proposed-" Violet stopped, looking down again.

"Nope," Holly said, "But I ... barely ever speak to Shaeman....I'm more of a "Shadow" fan-club kinda girl."

"We all have true names, but we were given names anew after we turned demonic for the first time." Vrael explained.

Violet sighed, realizing that Shaeman was ignoring her. Standing up, she grabbed her wand and started walking.

"Ah I see," Holly said, "So is "Vrael" your real or demonic name?"
