| Keeper Training So, welcome to Keeper Training! Its gonna be a whole lot of fun, with heaps of points to be earned so lets get started, shall we?
Being a Keeper envolves...? Basically, your job as a keeper is to prevent the other team from scoring goals. Easy, right? All you have to do is turn up to the match (its helpful to arrive early so the other team doesnt score before you get there!) and RP (role play) the position of Keeper. When you RP be emotive and use descriptive language. Write in third person (eg. Alice flew onto the pitch) and past tense (eg. Alice flew onto the pitch). Try to develop your posts into more than a paragragh, but dont waffle on about nothing in particular. Its better to be shorter and more to the point than to have a 3000 word essay about you hopeing your team will win!
So thats basically everything you need to know... Now let get to earning those points!
Posting 4 posts, possible of 25 points per post. RP 4 quidditch posts, playing keeper for your house. Write like its a proper quidditch match and follow all rules.
Post 1. Its an awful, rainy, overcast day. The wind is blowing fircely. You are the first person to arrive on the pitch. Things to remeber: -Put your house and position in brackets at the start of your post. -Perhaps write a bit about what you did before the game (wakeing up etc.) . -Day one of posting is for ariving onto the pitch, so you cant pick up the quaffle and start throwing it around
Post 2.Its a brilliantly sunny day, and the balls have just been released. One of the other teams chasers have made an early grab for the quaffle and is flying right at you! Both of your beaters have yet to turn up and the oppositions beaters have injured your chasers! No one can help you. The other teams chasers throws the ball at your left hoop...Things to remeber:-Put your position and house in brackets at the begining of your post.-You cant control the actions of other players.-Dont god-mode. Its boring to read how you always save the goals, nomatter how impossible.Post 3.Its winter and a beautiful layer of snow has fallen, so the pitch it white. The air is cold and the wind is harsh on your face. The other teams chaser has thrown the quaffle towards your goals, and to aid the attempted goal the opposition beater has smacked a bludger at you.Things to remeber:-Put your position and house in brackets at the begining of your post.-Use descriptive language.-Tell your version of events.Post 4.Your team has shown up for the quidditch game. The weather's perfect and the balls have been released. Nothing is missing, except the other team!Things to remeber:-Put your position and house in brackets at the begining of your post.-Write about somthing interesting. | |
