It’s currently the grand year of 1976 at Hogwarts Academy. It’s the time when some of the most gifted students to roam the halls of the institution attend. Right now we are blessed to be hosting some of the brightest and rising stars in the wizarding world to date. Students such as Lucius Malfoy, James Potter, Greta Catchlove, and who could ever forget the many children that hale from the Black family. It’s also the time of deep seeded secrets and rumored societies. This is the time when bonds of friendship grow and seeds get planted and break some friendships apart, turning close friends into enemies and allies into opponents.

Stories raising from the outside world about a dark wizard raising are far from main page news within these halls. For years, almost as long as Hogwarts it self has been existence there have been rumors of a secret society formed long ago by some of the founding members. Some rumors believe that the secret society was formed by Salazar Slytherin himself. Other tales tell a story of it being formed by a group of teachers after his departure, wanting to keep a part of his beliefs seeded within the school.

This supposed society is rumored to be very selective of it’s members. Most say that if you haven’t been initiated by the time you are in your fourth week of your fifth year you were not and will not be invited. According to some rumors the society is solely based on blood status only, other rumors say it’s all about who you know. It’s also been said that even if you did know a member of the society you wouldn’t know it, because they aren’t allowed to tell anyone, not even those closest to them that they are apart of the society or even mention it’s existence. Some rumors even say that some of the most powerful wizards in history weren’t invited into the society.

These of course, are all just as said, rumors, or are they?

In reality this society is very much real, and very much exists, and only Hogwarts most elite students are allowed in. Those that are apart of the society don’t look any different from any other member of the student body. These students live by a certain code of rules and obligations that other members of the student body don’t. They are sworn to secrecy and sworn to uphold the rules of the society at all times. Some of the teachers are old members of the society and allow the students currently inside of the circle special privileges, such as less if any punishment at all for certain offenses.

Until recently word and rumors of the society had all but disappeared from the halls. What happened to change it all you ask? Why did the rumors suddenly start up again? Why after thousands of years of nothing are the halls of Hogwarts suddenly abuzz with gossip of the society? The rumor is that someone broke the rules, and someone did something that wasn’t allowed. Someone spoke word of the society to a member who didn’t belong, someone not apart of the elite. According to the buzz around the halls, a certain boy told a certain girl, trying to impress her, and as the rumor mill goes, the boy got caught and thrown from the mists of the high society, causing a rift in the student body and a shift in the harmony that once filled the halls.

Will this new development unravel and bring the society to light, possibly even put an end to it all. Could the revelation cause a rift in long time friendships. One thing is for certain, things are changing around Hogwarts, and nothing will ever be the same.

Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew are up for grabs. The characters have already been made to move the plot along, but they are still available.
