Welcome to the Pentathalon event. Please read the instructions carefully

INSTRUCTIONS

The pentathalon is a 5 event main event.
You must do each of the 5 events in order and post each in a seperate post (double posting is allowed). If you do any out of the order then marks will be taken off and you wont be eligible for a medal. If you do not finish the event, you will be given marks depending upon how many you have done though again, wont be eligible for a medal.

The events in the order in which they must be completed are as follows;

1. High Hurdles : Write a double drabble (200 words) on the first person view of one of the characters in HP.

2. Shot put : Follow this link: HERE and score as many baskets as you can in the time provided. Print screen the whole left side of the game with your name on it and upload it here. Dont worry if you really can not get any (i didnt first few tries!) simply put up the score of 0 if you can only do that! The higher your score, though, the more points you may get.

3. Long Jump : Submit a clip from youtube with a opening tune to a tv programme of your choice (eg: buffy theme tune)

4. High Jump : Play the following game found HERE When the game ends your score in the bottom right corner will flash red. print screen and upload here

5. Middle Distance : Here you have a choice how to finish your race. You may submit either one, two or three chapters in any form you wish (ie 3x one shots, or start of story, or in middle of story etc). What you choose, though, depends upon what medal you are eligible for. 1,2 and 3 chapters all do finish your race though

1 chapter: If you submit only one chapter, you are only eligible for bronze at highest
2 chapter: If you submit two chapters you are eligible for silver medal at highest
3 chapters: If you submit all three chapters you are eligible for gold

ALL chapters must be uploaded to HQ and link to chapter posted here and ALL chapters MUST be uploaded from start of this event onwards.


1st, 2nd and 3rd bonus for race will go to the posting order of scores.
Points Possible can be found within the points post.
Story will be judged by judges in two different ways.

Please note: Scores are now much higher than originally planned!

I remember it as if it were yesterday. That fateful night that changed the lives of everyone. Families torn apart because of him. Loved ones killed because of him. Yet the world still changed for the better because of him. He cause chaos, murder and bloodshed, and although I was the one who put the final nail in the coffin, drew the magic from within me to end his sorry life, I had not been alone. If it had not been for my friends, my family, whether they were alive or dead, I would not have survived. I would not have lived, yet he may of and it burns my heart to think what the world could be like now, yet I do not want the praise. I do not want the acknowledgement.

All I want is to live. To die is a great adventure, and trust me, I have been there, done that and got the tee shirt, but to live…to live is something else entirely and I will do it, through all the still existing pain, I will live. It may be hard, probably the hardest thing in the whole world, yet I will do it, I want to do it.

I will live for them.

HIGH HURDLES






As I walked down the corridor towards the great hall, I
could not help getting the feeling that everyone was watching me. I mean, maybe
if it was just the girls then I could understand, as I Ron Weasley have grown a
few muscles this year, though it was not just the girls, but the boys too, even
Peeves gave his usual barking screech of a laugh. As I reached the bottom of
the stairs I saw Harry and Hermione staring at me, laughter in their eyes. I
asked them what was wrong, yet they just pointed towards a large mirror hanging
on the wall. Frowning at them and beginning to feel slightly annoyed, I took a
breath and looked into the mirror. It was then I realized what was wrong.
Remember those dreams everyone tends to have? Well it was happening to me….I
was completely naked except for my shoes. I screamed loudly and turned to see
Fred and George cackeling in the corner. As I went to punch them I tripped and
fell into the pond…and then I realized. Why was a pond in the hall unless…





“FRED!!! GEORGE!!!”





Their mind altering coffee crèmes certainly worked!

200 for 1st to submit, 150 for 2nd and 100 for 3^rd
(up to 1^st chapter in part 5)

Only two people were
eligible for medals in this event. There is no silver medalist. Although Rigby
got a higher score, Violet takes gold as she did al three required chapters for
gold medal. Rigby did only one required chapter allowing her at the highest a
bronze medal.
