Birthday parties were never my thing, especially surprise ones. I hated finding out that everyone had been planning something behind my back, hated knowing that I hadn't guessed the surprise in time. I hated being scared out of my wits when everyone jumped out of their hiding places shouting "Happy Birthday!"

"Look here, sweetie! Say cheese!"

What did cheese have to do with anything? I wanted to scream and throw things. I wanted to find the cake and dump it on someone's head. My chin trembling, I stamped my foot angrily and burst into tears just as the camera flashed.

I dreaded that day were every other kid on earth loved. The day of age. Being a Twin i was stuck sharring. Not only toys and rooms but the one thing i did not want to share is my birthdate. cake share it. The worst part is that on annoucments at school saying happy birthday to me and my twin brother. So even if i wanted to pretend that we werent twins i couldnt. the birthday songs everything anybody liked about a birthday party i hated for one reason. The day that i celebrate my life i have to share.
