The Evil Within

Violet sighed, laying on her stomach. She closed her eyes, blocking out everything around her.

"Someone help me..." She whispered out. She heard the door open and she moved back quickly.

"Violet?" Nixy called, as she glanced around her. "Where are you?" She asked.

Violet sat up quickly. "Nix?" She asked. She stood up, pulling on her chains.

"Nixy, were are you?" She asked

Phoenix spun around quicky and ran down the corridor where she heard Violet.
"Violet?" She called.

Violet crossed across the room, but was grabbed.

"You arent going anywhere." he growled in her ear.

Fear flooded Violet as she struggled to get away.

"NI-" She yelled, but it was cut off by him throwing his hand over her mouth.

Shadow appeared in the room, two swords at the ready.
"Vi?"

Jamie followed her, the blueness filling the dark room for a second.
"Shad... Vi?"

Violet growled, trying to pull from the person.
"Aww...poor you..." The person mumbled, pulling her back to the wall.
He tighten the chains on her arm and glared at her.

"Are you going to leave her alone, or does this have to get messy?" Shadow snarled.

Violet looked around the man.

"Shadow..." She mumbled, wide eyed.

The mn growled, pulling out his wand.

Shadow sheathed one sword, leaving one hand free to use magic.
"Yeah, I'm back Vi."

Violet nodded and started pulling at the chains again. The man turned towards Shadow and raised his wand.

"Crucio!" He yelled.

Shadow cartwheeled to the side neatly, avoiding the curse. She retaliated with several bolts of her own magic, her face a mask of grim determination.

The man dunked, thinking over another curse.

"Imperio! Stupfy!" He yelled. Violet took the chance to kick the man in the back.

Shadow teleported next to Violet, avoiding the curses and starting to try to release her.

"Shadow...dont worry about me....kill whoever that it..." Violet mumbled. She watched as the guy stood up. "You two arent going anywhere." He growled

"Watch us." Shadow said, standing in front of Violet.

"Ok, I will." He said sarcasticly. The man pionted his wand at Violet. "Crucio!" he yelled.

Shadow growled deep within her throat, her wolf side becoming apparent as she launched herself at the man, morphing in mid flight. She bared her wolf teeth, aiming for his throat.

The man didnt have time to react. He fell over as Shadow landed on him. Violet closed her eyes, not wanting to see.

Shadow snarled at him, her front paws planted firmly on his shoulders. She lowered her head to bite through his throat.

Violet kept her eyes closed hard and turned her head as she heard the man scream.

Shadow leapt lightly off the man, the taste of blood filling her mouth with a metallic taste. She morphed back to human form, spitting on the ground.

"Is it safe to look?" Violet asked, her head still turned. Her senses were going out of control. "Hurry and get me ou of here before I tried to drink the rest of his blood." VIolet mumbedl

Shadow nodded, quickly severing the rest of the chains with magic before teleporting them both to a nearby forest.

Violet slupmed agianst the tree, breathing deeply. "Thank you..." She mumbled. She closed her eyes and ran a hand threw her hair.

Shadow looked through the small collection of vials on her belt and handed Violet one that contained a black substance.

"What is that?" Violet asked, taking it. She looked at it before opening.

"Some of my blood. It'll keep you going for a bit." Shadow said.

Violet nodded, closing her eyes and swallowing the blood. Her eyes widen and she pulled the vail away.

"Thank you..again." Violet said.

"Welcome." Shadow replied.

Violet sat down and sighed. "What do we do now?" She asked. She looked around and bit her lip before asking.
"How is your brother?" She asked softly

"Shaeman? He's fine." Shadow said.

Violet nodded and leaned her head against the tree. "How are you?" Violet asked her.

"Any ideas on what to do next?" Shadow asked.

Violet shook her head and stood up. "We could go and try to stay out of trouble." Violet mumbled.

"True." Shadow said, looking at her. She wondered what was wrong.

Violet ran hand threw her hair again and sighed. She pulled her wand out and shot a light threw the forest. "We can go this way, its clear." Violet siad.

Shadow nodded and strode the way Violet had pointed out.

Violet followed after Shadow, mumbling under her breath.

Shadow turned to face Violet, her head on one side questionningly.

"Nothing.." Violet mumbled to her. She stopped and looked over to the side. "I think I just found dinner..." Violet mumbled, walking towards wha she heard.

Shadow made a slight face and followed the vampire.

Violet bent down and growled softly in the back of her throat. She jumped out, attacking the person. She bit down into his neck.

Shadow looked fixedly at a tree while Violet made her kill, thining of other things.

Violet moved back, standing up. She looked at the person and shrugged, not knowing who it was. She turned around, wiping the blood she had on her mouth off. "Sorry." Violet mumbled.

Shadow shrugged.
"It's ok."

Violet nodded and walked back on the path. "How are you?" Violet asked her.

"OK. You?" Shadow said.

"Been better." Violet mumbled. She kicked a rock infront of her and pulled her wand out agian.
