Stephaine walked into the classroom and whiped off the chalk board from the last lesson.
"another day another person turned into a racoon" she said then sat down at her desk.

After her followed Alice "so i am early again say it is odd to be likethe same age as the teacher" She asked Stephaine.

"not one the teach is a vampire and doesnt change age" she said opening a book waiting for the students to drisle in.

torren walked in hand in hand with ryan. "we aren't late are we?" she asked taking a seat near alice. ryan sat next to torren.

"i think we're early actually," ryan told her.

"no one asked you!" torren said shoving him playfully.

"Hi" stephaine said from behind her book.
"that would be her good luck" Alice said then slouched alittle in her chair.

"oh i see," torren said. "hi," she answered stefaine, "how did you get a job teching ap transfiguration so young?"
"isn't that a little rude to be asking?" ryan asked.
"shut up, i'm just curious." she said using her wand to put a mouth sealing charm on him. "sorry, don't mind him." she smiled at stefaine, "and i'm sorry if i was rude or out of place, i'm just curious." she said apologizing.

"i am like technolly like 300 years old so i already know this stuff" she snapped not looking up from her desk.
"i wouldnt worry she is just always alittle snappy so you werent like out of place or anything" Alice took a large uneeded breath.
"stephaine can you atleast try to be a nice teacher please" alice asked looking over to stephaine.
"um let me think nope" she leaned back in her chair.
"ugh" Alice rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"um... i'm-i'm sowri." torren stammered. "i didn't know that. well, at least that means you'll be a fantastic teacher." torren said trying to lighten the mood. she undid the charm sealing ryan's lips together.
"i told you. you really shouldn't ask things like that." he said to her, torren put her head down."ahh, don't be sad. um..." he hugged her.
"get off me." she whined.
"uh..." he let go of her. "so i'm ryan," he said holding out his hand to alice. "and i think i upset my girlfriend. you and her are friends, right?" he asked

"hey dont mind her she purposly finds ways to be snappy its not your fault she is just like that i promise Torren honestly she is just that kind of a person i sware trust me i have known her scine like forever dont be sad" she said trying to make torren happy.

"oh someone snaps at you and you start crying wow" stephaine mumbled.

"will you shutup see i told you" Alice said still trying to confort her.

"it's ok," torren said, "i should have known better than to ask. i mean she has every right to snap at me for that, it was rude. ryan even warned me not to." ryan frowned at her.

"but, i didn't know that she would snap over nothing. please don't be upset anymore."

"i'll try, thanks for trying to cheer me up you guys." torren said

"no she still had no reason to snap but ya" she said giving a warning glare to Stephaine.
please just try not to snap today Alice thought in Stephs head. Stephaine thought and then looked at Alice and shook her head only slight enough that Alice could see it.

"why can't we all just get along?" ryan asked. torren shook her head.

"it would be better if we could, but i think steph just doesn't want to today. maybe tomorrow?!" torren wondered with a little optimism.

"more like two years but maybe if your luckt tomorrow i will be able to convience her to be nice possibly no promises though" Alice said looking at her friends.
"thats not fair i am nice on the holidays and accasioins" Stephaine said not lucking up.
"can tomorrow be an acassion" Alice said giggling slightly.
"maybe i will see" she said rolling her eyes.

torren and ryan giggled. "i don't blame her, i'd probably be grouchy if i had to put up with other people for as long as she has." torren laughed a little.

"yeah, especially if they are anything like this one." ryan said nodding in torren's direction.

"excuse me?" torren asked in a rather irate tone.

"heheh, just kidding. i love you, you know that, right?"

"yes, i do and i love you too." torren sighed and laid her head down on ryan's shoulder. he kissed her forehead.

"except for the fact that she was always like this but good theory she is just not a people person" alice whispered.
"hey alice am i alawoed to put you in detention for that?" stephaine asked looking around the room.
"no because then you would have no one to get cought for you on those crazy schemes" alice rolled her eyes.
"right well that one way way back wasnt so crazy" she said tapping her chin recolling her memories.
"you set your cat on fire for it to work" alice laughed out.
"well it worked didnt it?" Alice shruged her shoulders.

"yeah, how on earth could you possibly bennifit from lighting a cat on fire?" ryan wondered.

"ya there pretty wild" Alice giggled.
"well we needed something flaming for are sling shot so i could hit my nabor with it and we couldnt find anything flamible so we set the cat on fire and tossed her out te window with a slingshot. It hit the guy in the head it was hallariuse" Steohaine explained replieing to what Ryan had said.
"this is one of the severl reasons why she isnt alowed to have pets" Alice said recolling the flamming cat sowring through the air.

"wow," torren said looking shocked. she giggled a little, "i bet that neighbor wasn't too happy to have a flaming cat on his head." she said imagining the look on the guys face.

"that poor cat!" ryan exclaimed, "i guess it could have been worse though." he sighed.

"aww you're such an animal lover. it's so cute." torren said scooting close to him and holding him.

"hey, it's not nice to make fun of me." ryan frowned.

"we aren't, at least i'm not. i can't speak for the other two. i doubt tink would though, stephaine probably would."

"well there we go" she said ending her piont Stephaine took defeate.
"i am not making fun of you and technaclly hasnt class started?" Alice asked Stephaine.
"oh well i am having a get to know the students day then" she said glancing up at the clock.
"well then maybe you should really get to know them insted of reading" she sudgested nicly.

"no one in this room has any idea what your talking about." ryan shook his head at her.

"tink, back me up here, you have to know what i mean!" she said looking to her friend.

"ya the four eyes monkeys poor shame sverl dieed many more injered it was in the papper" she said convincingly secretly wanting to crack up in laughter at what she was talking about. Stephaine gave an odd look towards them and then just disided to ignore it.

"you're so ridiculous, and i have no idea what either of you are talking about." he said laying his head down on the desk. "it makes my head hurt to just think about it."

ryan took his head off the desk and made a pouty face at her, "fine, gang up on me then."

torren's eyes flashed at him. "i'd watch it." she said.

ryan graoned, "you wouldn't? in a classroom full of people?" torren said something in a low whisper and POOF! ryan turned into a cat.

"everyone, meet ryan's other form." she giggled.

"this is not funny, turn me back!" he demanded.

"nope, you'll just have to wait for it to wear off on it's own."

torren smiled at the beautiful black tabby cat that was her boyfriends other form. she knew he was annoyed, she was the only person he had ever told his secret to.

ryan sighed, "no, i really don't enjoy it. but i can't stay mad at you, even for this. i love you."

"i love you too. so, does that mean i can explain or should you?"

"you can," ryan sighed again. "i think it's going to rain, i feel really sleepy."

"or maybe it's just because tink is petting you?"

"oh, yeah... could be." he purred a little.

"he gets really weak when it rains. i haven't been able to quite figure it out, but the cat especially a black cat in many cultures, is said to have a wicked soul. so i think it may have something to do with that." torren said playing with her hands.

"torren's been looking into it, ever since i told her my secret. she is really concerned about helping me. see if i don't break this curse by my seventeenth birthday, i will remain a cat forever." he purred a little more as alice scratched under his chin.

"it's no ordinary curse either. there are three words that if he's in the vicinity of someone saying them, he will turn into a cat. and there are only two words you can say to reverse it, or it has to wear off by itself. he can also turn into a cat when he sneezes, when he makes a girl cry, when a glass is shattered on a red floor." torren said, still playing with her hands.

"it was his mom. she almost died giving birth to him, so she figured she'd make him miserable. he's had the curse since he was little." torren sighed.

"it's true, my mom is evil. she intended to kill me, but could only go as far as turning me into a cat. although appearently, i'm lucky i haven't been made a pet and set on fire." ryan said jumping off of alices lap and leaping onto the desk next to torren he nuzzled her.

"that's why the whole lighting the cat on fire thing bothered him so much." torren added.

"it's ok," torren smiled as she scratched behind ryan the cat's ears. "he's just really touchy about stuff like that, being a cat and all. well half cat, but so many things can turn him."

ryan purred a little and drooled as she scratched behind his ear, "hey, you know you wouldn't think it was cute if i was in boy form and i was drooling right now."

torren giggled, "you're right, that would just be gross, but you won't even be boy form for another hour or two."

"please turn me back." he whined.

"no." torren giggled some more.

"shut up," torren said. "bloody hell, i can't shove you... i'd shove you right off the bloody desk."

"please don't."

"you make the worst cat ever, you're terrified of mice and you can't land on your feet." torren shook her head.

"isn't he just? that's why i usually leave it until the curse wears off, but sometimes he gets all moody and broods. and sometimes he's just bloody down right mean, hissing and scratching."

ryan glared at her, "once, i hissed at you and scratched you once. to be fair you stepped on my tail."

"it was dark, how the bloody hell am i supposed to see a black cat in the dark?" she asked shaking her head. "do you mean as in change him back for now, or how to break the curse for good so he doesn't turn into a cat permanently?" she asked alice. "because the first one i know, i just usually don't do, unless he's being good. the second one, we're still searching for answers on how to break it."

"his dad had her put in st. mungo's, in the part for head cases because she was basically driven mad by her hate for ryan." torren said sadly.

"we've been through everything we could possibly think of." ryan said sounding a bit distant. "there is no way we've missed anything."
