IMPORTANT NOTICE : Staff Retirement and site changes


The Hogwarts Experience has been running strongly and growing brilliantly both in size of the site and member count since 2006 and is nearly three years old. It is a site which both myself and Amy are very proud of, not only for what it has become, but also for all the wonderful members we have here. It is a site like no other and we have always tried to bring everyones ideas into the site to make it feel like everyone belongs.

As you may have guessed, this takes a lot of hard work both on the forums, sub-sites (such as HQ) and behind the scenes.

After a lot of careful deliberation and conversations myself and Amy have decided that it is our time to 'retire' from full time work here at HE.

Please dont think it is the end though!

Raistlin the Wizard is going to be stepping up as full time admin to the site and working with the moderating staff to continue to run HE. Myself and Amy will also still be around behind the scenes and helping here and there though will not be running any main events or tournaments ourselves. HE will still continue to run as you know it, with your ideas still welcome at any time!

We'd both like to thank everyone - staff and members, past and present - for being so great over the past three years. Stepping down isn't a decision we've taken lightly and we hope you'll all support us in this.

Oh dear what have I put myself into XD kidding

I can only hope I can do as well as they did as better is not possible and they'll be here to guiding me.

I'll try keep HE as we all know, fun and eventful though if you dont see much of me till february don't worry I havent deserted I'm just keeping up with university but I'll fully rise in february I promise.

Mods you'll be my force and Elfie and Amy my guidding lights.

And all good heads need a deputy head as Amy was a brilliant deputy to me - I couldnt have done it without her!
