| Keira Knightley
Design 1: Summer Dress This is a fun little number for Keira to wear. The brown and yellow polka dot fabric is a very retro look which would set off Kiera's natural beauty, and retro is very in right now. With a gorgeous pair of strappy shoes, she'll look amazing in it. The neckline is designed to enhance her assets, and the embellishments just complete the look. With the other pieces in this collection adding to the more serious side of things, I thought that a summer dress would be a nice side-note.Design 2: Office Casual This two-piece outfit includes a skin-tight skirt with decorative buttons, and a white blouse that tucks into the skirt with a frilled collar. This outfit would shape Keira's body well, and is not too dressy nor to casual for day-to-day business dealings, which she would get a lot in her schedule. Design 3: Formal Gown This beautiful gown is a bright jewel of a dress: The chiffon fabric is dyed in three tones: red, orange and yellow, and set off by the satin pink of the bodice. The fabric is crawn in at a high waist to draw less emphasis to the hips, and the neckline is loose to add to the imagination. This would draw the eye to Keira at any red carpet event, of which there are many for her, and flows beautifully when walked in. (Sorry it's crooked ><)Design 4: Steampunk Costume This piece was inspired by Keira's ability to wear just about anything. I think that a Steampunk movie would look great on her, costume-wise. This costume would be in tones of white and cream, which would set off her dark eyes. As well as that, the line of the corset would accentuate her shape in a very flattering manner. The costume includes a skirt, strapped corset, shirt and hat.Design 5: Airpunk Costume This costume was military-inspired. I like the stiff shoulders and button-down signature of the military jacket, and so I made an example of it for Keira. The collar is emphasised as an overstatement, to draw attention to the framing of the face, and the jacket is fitted to the waist with a slight flare at the hips to accentuate the womanly figure. The pants are a tight fit, and 30s-Aviator inspired. This would be a good piece for Keira to wear in a period piece, or maybe out riding, but she has the jaw line and height to pull it off.Design 6: Victorian Costume This is a specific Victorian-era piece (not to be confused with Steampunk, which encorporates futuristic elements in the design). The dress includes a pinafore, skirt and top. The top is boned for fit, and has a line of buttons down the spine. It is also patterned in a purple and black diagonal-stripe. The bustle is done in a crinkled satin, and embroidered along the hem of the front. The back part of the skirt is decorated with an intricate series of piping, in a darker purple. This costume would compliment Keira's slim figure and draw emphasis to her posture and bearing, which would be appropriate for a period drama piece. | |

| Selena GomezDesign 1: Prom Dress So, Selena is not much older than myself and a prom dress isn't entirely out of the question for her. I chose a light pink since she's actually quite tan, so the color would compliment her skin tone quite nicely. I gave the sweetheart neckline that she has worn on a few of her other dresses quite successfully. The full poofed out skirt was inspired by a dress that she wore in an episode of Wizards of Waverly place and pulled it off well. All in all, it was a dress meant for a princess type and I think she'd fit it. Besides, every girl wants to feel like a princess on her prom day. Design 2: Beach Day Selena loves going to the beach and hanging out in the sun, so I decided to give her something for the time heading to the beach and for the time out of the water; partly inspired by something that she'd already worn. A big fan of the one shoulder look, I paired a cropped, blue, knitted one-shouldered tank that would fit over her swimsuit but still show it off with a black miniskirt that would be simple to pull on and off to get into the water. Completed with some blue flip flops that are perfect for the beach. Design 3: Little Black Dress Every woman needs her little black dress, so I designed one for Selena. Fully raunched in the body and with spaghetti straps to hold it up, a fairly basic neckline makes it look still pretty classy without losing the sex appeal. In the back there is also an addition to the dress in the form of a black mesh that would be in the kind of style that Selena has taken to wearing and make it distinctly her own. Added to the outfit would be some black heels, although they could be substituted for colored ones instead. Design 4: Everyday Wear This outfit would be something that Selena could wear out while just hanging out with friends. The shirt is made into two main parts, the almost tubetop is the main part of it, which is red with polka dots that are stylish and give a flair of color. Over the tubetop, forming the wide tanktop like straps that keep the dress up is a material similar to tan mesh. Paired with the long shirt are black leggins, also something very in fashion currently and very comfortable. The look is completed with black heeled boots, possibly some from her own line that could either be tall or short. Design 5: Layered Look Another outfit that could be for everyday use, is a layered look. Since layers are very in right now, she could wear it out to do shopping and other such things as well. First, is a simple white tanktop that would be worn under a purple poncho. Since Selena likes ponchos and they're cute, it would look nice on her. Next, would be the denim miniskirt; denim never really goes out of style and she could have it be acid washed as well. Under this skirt would be lace leggings, these show a bit more skin but have a really great effect on people with nice legs. This look would best be paired off with short boots and ones that were purple like the poncho that she would wear with it. Design 6: Office Attire Just because Selena is famous it doesn't mean that she might not have to look office friendly. So I gave her an outfit that would fit the time and make her look professional, but cute at the same time. First, there'd be the white blouse which would be paired up with a gray vest (and although I failed to draw it this way) which would be double breasted. This vest would be the same color as her pants, which would be gray with pinstripes (because pinstripes always seem more professional). The pants would be paired with a thin, fashionable but simple, black belt (because, as I was told at work: if you have belt loops, wear a belt). The look would be completed with simple, but ever classy black heels. | |
