Break

Henry sat in his apartment, sighing. The girl he had been seeing left a while ago. He could care less. He only wanted one person and he screwed up. She was gone now.

Phoenix glanced over at the clock, years had passed by, and she remained cold, just like her heart.

Henry threw his bottle at the wall, standing up.

Phoenix watched the door open, looking at it she saw her boyfriend enter."Hey Nate." She said, kissing his cheek. "Hey hun." he said.

Henry walked to the nearest pay phone, sighing.

Phoenix sighed, looking at Nate as he continued to talk she wasnt listening.

Henry dialed Phoenix's number, hoping she would pick up. He wanted to see his children.

Phoenix heard the phone ring, and rushed over to it. "Hello?" She asked.
Nate shrugged, walking into the bathroom.

"I want to see my children." He said into the phone.

Phoenix nodded. "Come around." She told him.

Henry nodded, hanging up the phone.

Phoenix looked over at Nate. "Henry is coming around."
Nate glared. "I'm going out." He hissed, leaving the house.
Phoenix sighed, looking down.

Henry walked up the steps, knocking n the door.

Phoenix walked over to the door and opened it. "Hey." She said, opening the door wider for him to get in.

Henry felt a flutter in his chest as he walked in. "Where are they?" He asked softly.

"Alice! Chase!" She yelled, watching them run into the living room. "DAD!" they yelled at the same time.

Henry smiled, hugging them. "I've missed you guys." He told them.

Phoenix smiled at the slight before, he really did care about them.
"We miss you to dad." Alice said. Chase nodded.

Henry laughed, pulling out his wallet. He still had loads of money and nodded. "Anywhere special you guys want to go?" He asked them.

Phoenix sat on the couch, looking at them.
Alice nodded. "CINEMAS?!" she yelled, clapping her hands.
Chase shook his head. "NO!"

Henry laughed. "ok, first a movie and then where Chase wants to go." He said, raising an eyebrow.

Alice nodded, taking her Dad's hand. "Sure." She said.
Chase smiled. "YAY."
Phoenix smiled. "Dont be home too late." she said, looking at Henry.

"Dont worry, I want." He said harshly

Phoenix sighed and nodded, sititng back onto the couch. "You know where the door is." She said, looking at Alice and Chase she waved goodbye.

Henry smiled at Chase and Alice, walking out the door.

Phoenix sighed, falling asleep on the couch.
Alice looked at Henry. "What happened with you and mummy?" she asked.

"Asl no questions, you get no lies." Henry said, making his way down the block.

Alice nodded holding Chase's hand. "Do you love mummy?" She asked.

"More then you know. And hows whats his name?" He asked her.

Alice nodded. "Nate?" She asked. "I dont like him."

"Why not?" henry asked her, looking back at her. "Has he done anything to either of you?" He asked, anger in his vians.

Alice shook her head. "No, i dont think mummy likes him very much anymore." She said.

Henry nodded, feeling happy on the inside. "As he ever touched any of you guys though?" he asked.

Alice shook her head. "No..." She trailed off. "But he hurt mummy."

Henry stopped. "What do you mean hurt your mother?" he aked.

Alice looked up at her father, "He hits her."

Henry growled. "I'll kill him." He growled.

Alice looked at him, taking his hand.
Phoenix soon awoken by the sound of nate's voice. "WHERE THEY THE BRATS?" He hissed at her. "YOU STUPID WHORE!" He hissed, hititng her.

Henry sighed, walking into the building. "What movie do you want to see?" he asked them.

Alice looked at him. "I dont know." She said. "SAW VI!" She said smiling.

Henry nodded, paying for three tickets.

Alice's eyes widen. "WOAHH! your actually letting me?!"

"What wouldnt I?" He asked, walking to the food court.

Alice smiled, and followed him.

"Come on Chase." he said, gettign three things of popcorn.

Chase nodded, "I dont like this film." He said.

"You get to do what you want next..." Henry said smiling.

Chase nodded, as they entered.

*After the movie*

Henry sighed, looking at them. "That was....ok..." He mumbled.

Alice smiled "AGAIN!" She yelled.
Chase shook his head. "NO!"
