Did you cry When Cedric died??
I didn't but just like sirius, I locked my self in a closet for a day...

I cried when Cedric died, and i fel tos depressed after wards lol. I was crying in the sixth, fifth, and fourth book, I'm like totally emotional lol. Sooo i cried for everything basically.

no i didnt cry for him i didnt like him he annoyed me lol.

I didnt really feel cedrics loss - I dont feel that we got to know him well like dumbledore and even sirius. I feel that perhaps JK could have let us know him more, although I probably still wouldnt have been affected by it as he wasnt exactly one of my favourite characters

Well I didn't cry when Cedric died, mostly cuz I was more in awe that Voldemort was actually back!!!! I know I know....

I didn't feel a great loss for him either, well I only really noticed it at the end when Dumbledore is giving his speech. And he wasn't really a character that I could get into so I really didn't mourn over him.

i didnt cry either, but i was sad. Because we never really knew Cedric the way we did Dumbledore or Sirius, i dont think the fact that it was cedric caused us more stress or sadness, but the fact that someone had been killed, a young student, is what made me sad.

does that amke any sense at all???

YEA I CRIED, who wouldn't, that was so sad, i was trying to hold it in, like really bad, but i couldn't, it was just so horrible!!!! it was so sad!

I cried because I wanted to see him and cho get together. I was depressed after I read GoF. I know we didn't get to know Cedric that well but having one of characters die just out of the blue like that, took me by surprise. In the other HP books, no one died when they were with Harry and so this was shocking.

I didn't cry for Cedric. But I'm not an easy cryer. I cried for Sirius and that was it.


Edit: okay, I cried the fourth time. No clue why, but it was kinda sad.

Not really. I was sad, cuz I didn't expect it all when I read it. I'm kinda slow when it comes to seeing things and stuff. But,I did cry when Sirius died tho. I didn't think it was fair! *hmphs* I'm sensitive..

No. I was just shocked! I literally froze in the middle of the sentenced, put down the book, went to watch tv came back and the same sentence was still there! I thougt maybe I was hallucinating because of too much reading....but...it was true!

Yes, I cried but mostly becasue I was scared for Harry. But I did fell Cedrics loss.

I didn't cry either, although of course it made me a bit sad... but we didn't get to know him really well, so no point in crying....

no i didnt cry when ced died but i almost did when siruis died and certainly did when dumbledore did

well cedric was a good kid. though we dont know much about him he was still a very sensitive person. hey, when they went to the quidditch world cup, the weasley, harry and hermione they met up first with cedric and his dad. and as much cedric dad kept saying that cedric was better than harry by beating him in quidditch and reminding harry so by the tournament, cedric kept refusing the compliments and tellimg ahrry dont worry. no i didnt cry but it surely did effect alot at hogwart.

No,I did't cry but,I got really upset! He died in a too bad way...I got shocked!

I was so shocked, as was my mum, (She read it to me...I was only about eight and didn't like reading much back then....I'm making up for that now though lol

Nope..I was more..happy he was gone...I didnt like him nor Cho..so why not make each of them sad. *shruggs*

I just didnt really...feel able to cry about him like I do the other characters. We knew alot about them, but barely anything of Cedric. He seemed like a jerk to me somehow and then the movie didnt really make it better when they were wearing the badges...

When I read the book, I remember going "*gasp* NO!" and quickly reading more. Couldn't put the book down. But in the movie, I got a little teared up (didn't cry, though) because of Cedric's dad's reaction, when he cried over his son and went all "MY SOOOOOOON!!!!" ...good acting.

Okay, I read GoF for the first time in the fourth grade I think, so don't make fun of me.

I was just over halfway through the book when I sat down in my room one night to read and I didn't stop until Harry got back to Hogwarts. I didn't cry when Cedric died, but I was literally shaking from that point on. My whole body was just kinda shaking with the intensity of those chapters. My eyes got a bit watery when Harry's parents came out of Voldy's wand, but it was when Harry got back to the grounds and was crying over him that got me crying too. It gets me in the movie almost every time. T.T I stopped after that for a bit and curled up on the couch with my mom, just silently crying. She was worried for a second before I said something along the lines of: "He's back, Mom. Voldemort came back and Cedric's dead!" She kinda laughed at me and I went back to finsh the book a few minutes later. I cried again, cause I reread the last few paragraphs, but then I finished and I went back to Sorcerer's Stone to await book five.

Yeah, I didn't cry for him either...I never really liked him....not that I wanted him to die or anything. xD

Pfft Cedric. I cried for Dobby!

He really was the 'spare'. Oh my.
