The show follows an organization that employs mind-wiped DNA-altered humans known as Dolls who are implanted with false memories and skills for various missions and tasks. When they are not 'at work' they are living in a real life Dollhouse which gives the show the name. One of those mind-wiped humans, a young woman named Echo, is slowly starting to become aware of herself and what's going on - all the while somebody on the outside is trying to bring the Dollhouse down while getting closer to Echo - possibly not aware that she is one of the Dolls he is after.

So, did anyone see this? I just watched it online, and really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what to expect, having heard a lot of conflicting reviews, but it's got me hooked good and proper. Let's hope Fox don't cancel it!

Well, I watched it cos it's Joss Whedon. I don't think it quite packed the punch of his other shows, but then again it was the pilot episode of a new show so who knows.

One thing I did miss was Joss's trademark humour. There were a couple of moments:

Oh I so agree amy!!! I used to watch it with my former boyfriend and he would drool over Eliza and Id be sitting there waiting for someone hot to come in the picture. XD

I found the first season more compelling than the second - its mystery was much more suspenseful than the second, and I also felt that the second was just giving the audience what they thought they wanted.

The other thing I really enjoyed about the series was the small things about the characters that were revealed as the series went on. Topher's birthday, stuff like that. Dollhouse 436937
