This class is simple: choose a magical creature and write a drabble about it. It can be set in the HP world, the real world, or any other fictional setting.

It slowly crept toward me from the shoreline. Its black beady eyes followed my every move even though I was paralyzed with fear at the sight of this creature that suddenly appeared. As it grew closer, I felt all my dreams just fade away. Its red/black hard outer shell glinted in the moonlight.

Within a flash, it was by my side and bit my hand, I let out a cry as though I could feel the bad luck sinking into my pores. It seemed as though I wouldn’t get asked to the dance after all as this bad luck will last for a week!

Darn mackled malaclaw.

The jewel's of the Fire Crabs ornately decorated shell shone wildly as they glittered on his back, causing reflections of colour to appear on the surface of the water and slashes of light across the trees around. The moonlight dappled the water silvery blue as it rained down from the skies, and the firecrab scuttled back towards the water, dragging it's damaged leg behind it like a trailing tail. I followed it towards the bank of the lake, and made an attempt to pick it up, poor creature needed help. But I didn't get any closer, as flames shot out from it's rear end. Holding my burned had I watched as the beautiful creature slid into the water and dissapeared into the depths, just as the moon slid behind the dark clouds, plunging me into darkness.

I accidentaly went slightly over, sorry. And i'm not sorted yet, so I wont be able to recieve points, but I wanted to have a go.

Trying hard not to blink I slowly bowed to the only hippogriff in the forest, I slowly waited for it to bow back sadly it didn't. I slowly started to stumble back breaking into a run hearing the hippogriff flying overhead I quickly zoomed past the trees until I met other one. I bowed and kept my eyes wide feeling them burn from not blinking. Luckily it bowed back and let me on it's back. I jumped on kicked it in the sides and felt it rise up into the air. Then the other hippogriff swooped down missing me by inches I felt the wind hit my face and a great blast as we charged off crashing the hippogriff out of the air. Then we landed on the outskirts of the forest and I repaid kindly with a ferret for helping me.

Just along a dark alley, I saw something which was eating what looked like three dead wizards. Well to clear my doubts, I walked as slowly as I could to catch a glimpse of the three 'men'. The proof was they were wearing pointed hats and cloaks draped over them. But something bad happened as i saw the men. I accidentally stepped on a puddle and the water splashing made the creature turn its head. It had a head of a man and had really sharp three rows of teeth. It had a body of a lion and had a tail of scorpion. Edging closer to me it growled which shook the walls of the alley. I just missed a boulder by inches while the monster advanced towards me as fast as lightning. It pounded on me smelling the stench of a breath,I felt like i was going to puke. It threw aimed some spikes at me and i felt i was drowsy. My organs stopped working and i pushed up the lilies."Argh!"Sweat was dribbling all over me. Was that a dream? But i knew the creature was a MANTICORE.

“MERLAS!” I yelled, clinging onto her mane as the normally-very-intelligent-but-being-very-stupid-at-the-moment Pegasus dove down towards the Black Lake, seemingly grinning. Her feathered wings were tucked tightly into her sides, adding to her speed as the wind resistance was lowered. Her ears were still pricked forwards happily, her liquid black eyes gleaming. We crashed into the water, but resurfaced quickly, clambering out onto the bank. Merlas shook herself roughly, showering me just as I was wringing out my cloak.
“Come on Merlas, you’re fifteen, act your age will you?” I scolded her jokingly. The Pegasus shook her mane again, her eyes laughing.

A creature of reds alike flames flew fast through the gates of age, have not spent much of time in cage. He soars fast high above the rest, and made his way ahead of ray. In night or fall he’ll turn in gray as he sought for a new fresh day. A year or two again he’ll bore, and later on, once again he’ll fall. But as you know, in every fall he never sticks on where he falls. At your very eyes you’ll see it clear, a phoenix rising from its ash in ring-like sphere. But how it ensued will forever be vague to you.

Samantha sat in her favorite reading chair in her bedroom, thoroughly engrossed in her Transfiguration textbook. She had already made it through most of her textbooks for the next year. Her purple puffskein, Merlin, sat humming contentedly on her shoulder. Every so often, when she was particularly absorbed in a passage, he would try to stick his tongue up her nose.

"Merlin, stop that!" exclaimed Samantha, "I told you, it's gross!"

Slowly, the little puffskein drew his tongue back in and stared up at her, humming.

"Yes, you're adorable, but I don't care how cute you are, boogers are not food!"

It'd been a while since the 'incident' as Neville liked to refer to it. It'd been since second year actually and now he was a grown man, who had fought in the Battle of Hogwarts and survived. So, when Hannah told him that there was something in the attack to be tended to, he naturally assumed that he could handle it.

He hadn't been counting on cornish pixies hiding up there and the second that they flew out at him, cackling evilly and heading for his ears, he sprinted away screaming, "Leave my ears alone you blue devils!"

a man named mr.chan walked up
mr.chan:that is a naked mole rat.
yo-shee: mum mum mum pleeeessssee can we get it * puppy dog pout*.
cho:okay baby
after cho payed mr.chan yo-shee had the naked mole rat and named him porkers because he's pink like pigs and he hiccoppis sounds like a pig sound.
