Moste Potente Potions

If you don't remeber this was the book that Hermione got from the library in the second book of the series. She, Ron and Harry needed this book in order to make the Polyjuice Potion. All J.K. had said about this book was that it was filled with with many potions"almost too gruesome to think about, and there were some very unpleasant illustrations, which included a man who seemed to have been turned inside out and a witch sprouting several extra pairs of arms out of her head"

So you're wondering what the assignment is. Well here it is:

Part One:

We all remeber the Polyjuice Potion and what the trio used it for. For this part I want you to pretend that you are describing the potion to someone who had never heard of it. State a few of the potion's ingredients, what it does and anything else that you think would be important to tell this person. The more you write the more points you will recieve. Also say whether or not you believe this potion belongs in the Moste Potente Potions book and whether or not you consider it to be Dark Arts. Make sure that the word count is 200- 500 words long.

Part Two:

In the Moste Potente Potions book the Polyjuice Potion was the only Potion listed in it that J.K. mentions. For the second part of this assignment I want you to create another potion that you think would deserve to be placed into this book. Remeber that it is a Dark Arts Potions and not a Pepperup Potion that takes care of a simple colds. It has to be something that a Death Eater might make and sip into his foes drinks. Try to be creative but don't be too gruesome. Make sure to include ingredients, what the potion is suppose to do and how Death Eaters or even Voldemort could use it to his advantage. Make sure that the word count is 350- 800 words.
