Comparing the Teachers

Hello Potion's students. Head Girl Stephy here to bring you a fun assignment.


Since Harry started school at Hogwarts he had had a new teacher every year, mostly for his DADA classes but there have also been some teacher changes in the potion class. For this assignment we're going to look at each teacher and at the end you'll decide which one you think is the best teacher of all.

Part One: Severus Snape

We all know that Snape had orginally wnated to be the DADA teacher but was denied many times so he settled with the Potion's class. What traits do you think that Snape had that made him a good teacher? What made him a not so good teacher? Give at least two reasons that support him and two that don't then state your opinion about him. Word count 200- 400.

Part Two: Horace Slughorn

At first Slughorn didn't want to take the teacher job but Harry was able to talk him into it. Some of the students at Hogwarts liked him while others didn't. Just like you did for Snape give two reasons to support Slughorn and two that state why he must of been a horrible teacher. Then state your opinion about him. Word count 200- 400 words.
