Subject: Hanging out (Closed to Sierra and Earl) Sat Apr 18 2009, 21:40

Earl was atanding outside waiting to meet up with Sierra. Stepy told her that he had no choice and had to meet up with her and so here he was waiting for her with flowers in his hands. He thought that giving Sierra some flowers was over doing it but Stephy insisted saying that all girls loved flowers and she would lve these. They were multicolored roses and Earl doubted that Stephy's taste in flowers was any good. Afterall who would want multicolored flowers.

Earl was standing at Hogsmead by the train. Stephy told him this was a great place to meet her at because if Sierra wanted to say at Hogsmead or the castle they could, if not than they could hop on the train and go somewhere else. At least here Stephy was makign some sense.

Sierra is about to meet somebody whom she don't know. The sun is now shining bright and she's still not ready to go. "Goody, goody, goody. Will I or will I not," she asked herself facing the mirror. "Wait! Why am I really even bothered if I show up or not? I don't know him, he don't know me. So, no real hurt if I don't."

She stood and paced around the room, thinking if she will go or not.

Rrrrrriiiiiinnnnnnggggg!!!

"Oh, Sashi," she disappointedly uttered, "Hi."

"Sierra!!! Where are you? He'll be at the Hogsmead. Don't worry, he's nice, he's a good friend's good friend, so he sure is good."

"Huh? Does that make him good already? Then I'm bad!"

"Sierra! Don't tell me you're not going! He'll be--"

Cutting the line, once again facing the mirror, she stared at herself, scanning all her face's curves, looking at every detail and sighed, "Oh well, I guess she'll say that he'll be waiting there and I should show up or he and his friend will think I'm rude. But...I look awful!!" burying her face with her palms she thought hard, "Yes or no? Go or not?" these kept marching on her brain until she ended up choosing yes and go.

Sierra was now getting nervous. "Oh dear, now what? Sashi forgot to tell me how I will knew him," she told herself looking around the street, scanning every person passing by hiding behind a post, "of all these people?? Urgh!"

Earl looked down at his watch and saw that it was time. Stephy said that Sierra would be here at this time so he started wandering around the area looking for someone who might be looking for him. So far he had ran into at least five guys and no girls. "WHat happened to all of the women here?" Earl asked himself as he looked around for at least one girl and found a five year old playing with a ball on the street. He was half tempted to go over to her and ask the girl if she was Sierra. Afterall sometimes Stephy could be cruel and he wouldn't be surprised if she was trying to hook him up with a five year old.

After much debate Earl decided that asking the little girl if she was Sierra would be a bad idea and so he resumed looking about. After waht seamed like ages he finally ran into a girl who seamed like she was looking for someone else as well. Earl skipped over to her but than quickly stopped. "Men don't skip" he told himself as he walked up behind her.

"Hello" Earl said. "Are you Sierra?"

Sierra is getting impatient. "I'll not risk myself to be this exposed to people, not sure if I'll be able to see this guy and what!" She was about to pace when she overheard someone mentioned her name. About a second or two she found herself facing the man who asked, though doubting he could be the man she was about to meet she blurted out NO! But suddenly, she thought that she should not lie. After all, what if he is it? Sashi might kill her!!

"I mean, yes! I am Sierra," she embarrassedly took back. "And you must be...Earl?" she asked.

Earl grinned glad that he finally found Sierra. He nodded his head saying Yes I am Earl. I thought that I'd never find you. Stephy's directions weren't that great. All she told me was to come here with these flowers" he said holding up the bundle "and wait until you came. Never said what you might look like or anything." he laughed and handed her the flowers. "Well these are for you. Stephy thought that it would be nice to get you some. She makes me feel as if I've been dating you for months" he laughed.

"Oh," Sierra giggled as she took the bundle awkwardly. "Well, Sashi too, didn't mentioned anything that might help me know you either. So, we're a bit on the same ground."

Without her knowledge Sierra was laughing out loud with this stranger he have just met. Though, these faded when she noticed she was. "Haha! Ha -Ha.. Uhm.. Sorry. I mean. Uhm. Hah! I haven't laughed like that for years...not with a total stranger, actually," she shyly told Earl. She felt that she seemed to be blushing so she looked away. Stupid girl!! Why have you said that? Urgh! Just cause of a laugh? Oh my, I'm nuts! but he seems to be nice. But still a stranger, so I should be careful. Okay. i'll be nice and careful then at the same time. yeah, I can do that.

"Nice. Uhm, colors," she told Earl, looking back at him.

Earl managed not to blush back once Sierra started to blush and didn't say anything when she looked away. He didn't want her to fell more awkward than what she might of been already.

"Nice. Uhm, colors," she told Earl, looking back at him.

Earl looked down at the clothes that he was wearing and blushed. Stephy thought that it would be cool if Earl was to wear a purple suit to surport HE's colors.

"Yea" Earl mumbled. "It could be worst." he laughed and than added "Your outfit looks wonderful"

Taking Earl's compliment, she said "Ow, thanks. It was just all mix and match and me." Sierra is wearing a lavender tube under a pastel pink bolero, matched with jeans, a purple pointed shoes and a big sunglasses that's lying on her head keeping her face hair-free.

"How could it be worse?" she asked, "But it's good that you've wore purple, cause our colors have matched. You see?" she smiled.

"With Stephy who knows what could be worse" Earl laughed. "I just feel so out of place here standing by the train. Everyone is wearing casual clothes and robes and here I am in a purple suit."

Earl looked at the train and saw that another one was coming by and he turned to Sierra saying "Should we get on the train or would you like to stay here in Hogsmead instead? Either way is fine with me"

Earl grinned. "Well it is a joke shop so i can't promise there won't be no spiders. If there is I'll save you from them."

Sierra raised an eyebrow onto Earl and marched, "C'mon." On her third step though she hault, "Oh!" she looked back to Earl quickly making her off shoulder hair bounce, slowly smiled and added, "that was sweet."

"Hum," Earl said looking all around. He took a few steps in one direction before turning around and walking in another. Once again he changed his mind and started to take a few steps in one direction. After doing this a few times he decided that he was lost and turned to face Sierra. "Well I dunno how to get there either. Let's just pick a path and hope it leads us there" he laughed

Sierra cackled, "Now this is fun! How about going right?" she randomly blurted out. "Though I'm not sure if that's really right." she joked as she continued laughing and cackling.

"Right" Earl said looking to his right. "Well it's on my right so it has to be right, if not it's right now" he said grinning as he dashed down the road and than ran into a wall. He fell onto his back but quickly jumped up looking to see if Sierra had seen him fall. He than looked around and saw that the road slipt off, one path going to the left and one going right.

Earl's face turned red, he was certain that Sierra had seen him run into the wall and was feeling a little embrassed by it. He burshed off his pants as he looked each way trying to decided which would be the best way to go. After whispering a rhyme under his breath he decided yhat left was the best way to go.

"I declare that we travel down the left path!" he said and than started to march forward

After marching for a couple of steps, Earl looked to his right and saw the store they were heading to wasn't too far away. It was on the right side of the street with a giant sign on the front of the store reading "Zonko's jokeshop."

"I think our random walking around has worked" Earl said to Sierra. "We found the store" he laughed pointing at it's giant sign

"I wouldn't of been able to pull off all of my randomness without you" Earl said. "Now let's go in and see what they have. We didn;t spend all that time looking for the store just to stare at it." Earl took a few steps forward but than stoped and turned to Sierra and said "Wait, maybe we did. I can't remeber."

"Hahahaha!" Sierra cackled. "You are funny," she told Earl and went to his side. "I like funny people," she bashfully added. She looked at him and smiled, "C'mon, I have a feeling we'll see something `joke-fully` wonderful in here." She held his hand and pulled him towards the joke shops entrance door.

Earl's face started to turn red as they walked over to the entrance. Once inside his mouth fell open. There was so many joke stuff inside the store that even though he didn't know what half of them did he couldn't help but be amazed. He walked over to the nearest self, draging Sierra with him. He than turned to her and said "Well you were right. I did find something `joke-fully` wonderful in here"

"See," she beamed at him, "but I still hope there are no spiders in here, puh-lease." she added with a little shrug. "So, why did you dragged me in this section? What have caught your attention anyway?" she asked him as she tried looking at some stuffs herself.

"A spider" he said reaching into a box and pulling out something black. He shoved it into her face but than couldn't hold a stright face and started laughing. "Don't freak out or anything it's not a spider" he added showing it to her. "See it's just a hat you put on your owl. It's suppose to make it change to look like whater you want it to"

"What?" Sierra nervously squealed as she heard the word spider. She was about to go hysterical when Earl said, "Don't freak out or anything it's not a spider"

"Good heavens Earl, don't you do that again. I might have a heart attack next time, so please don't!" She turned and walked out of the shop, arms crossed above her chest. The fear of the thing obviously took all the spaces in her mind, she even ignored the hat earl was holding in front of her. It was her nature, getting hot-tempered occasionally on unexpected situations.

He knows I am scared with those. Let's say he was just joking, okay, but I am scared on those. He shouldn't have joked me like that. Urgh! I don't know.

She sat on the nearest bench set along the sidewalk outside the shop and hand cupped her chin still with meeting eyebrows.

Earl sensed that Sierra was angry at him so he tossed the owl hat back into the box he got it from and followed her over to the bench. He stood there hestitant at first to sit down but than got the courage and did so. He looked over at Sierra seeing the anger on her face,

"I'm soory Sierra" Earl said. "I didn't mean to be such a jerk like that. I can see that spiders scare you a lot and I shouldn't of joked like that. I was being a prick. I promise I won't do ti again" he said looking at Sierra, trying to see if she was still mad at him or not. He didn't want her to continue being mad

Sierra stood up still with arms crossed and faced Earl with a raised eyebrow. "Apology accepted, but I'll not go back into that shop. Never again!" she pointed out.

Earl felt relieved that she had forgiven him and junped to his feet saying "We don't have to go back in there. There's many stores here. You can pick one."

Sierra released her arms and slid them to her waist, now looking around to spot their next stop. "I'm actually getting hungry, but I'm not in the mood of eating much. How about trying Florean Frotescue's Ice Cream Parlor? What d'ya think?" She asked Earl as she turned and faced him.

Earl followed behind her and was glad that the Ice Cream Palor wasn;t that far from the Joke Shop. He was hungry for Ice Cream and he wanted it now. Once they made it up to the Ice Cream Palor the man in charge looked at them both and asked in a joyous voice "What would you two like today?"

Sierra took a seat near the counter. "Good day! I would love to have a Pistachio Ice cream. Do you have that?" Sierra greeted the man-in-charge joyfully and asked if her order is available. It appears that the Parlor's ambiance, plus the man's joyous voice, changed her mood somehow.

Earl waited as Sierra ordered her and once the Ice cream mad gave her what she wanted he ordered his own. "Do you have Peanut Butter Ice Ceam with some mints please?" The Palor looked at Earl with a starnge look on his face and said "Okay I guess we have it" Earl waited as the palor got him his Ice Cream

"I'm done," she leaped in excitement and drag Earl out of the Parlor, "Oh! the bills, I forgot!" she said and rushed onto the counter leaving some Sickles. "That's my treat for you, mister. Now, who'll be the first victim? Hmm..." she said as she scanned the area and seek for a target.
